Fenix TK41 Is A Winner

Anyone know of a good deal for the TK41?

It looks like I can get one for about $110 on eBay, but I think I remember someone mentioning that it could be had for about $100 somewhere.

PM sent.

Just got the Ripoff BL-166DS and it fits the TK 41 perfectly. Pretty good quality and I am totally satisfied with it. I like that the top strap goes over the lens and has a velcro closure. Very satisfied.

Fenix jsut released a diffuser for the TK41. Check it out:

I know where you can get one for around $100 shipped.

I think the TK41 is the best C-note you can spend on a torch. Wish I could afford one to keep in my car as well.

And those are some nice cars.

Just went out and tested mine for the first time. You guy's were right on with your advice. The TK 35 has pretty nice flood and range and is excellent for that purpose but the TK 41 has a tighter spot and greater distance. Mine has a white as white beam and I could not be happier. I was so thrilled with this lite I ordered the TK 70 tonight from Shane. Oh boy here we go. I think the TK 41 is a go to lite for sure.

Glad to hear how much you like it!

P.S. Thanks for the PM!

would you prefer a tk41 over a sunwayman v60c and why (not)?

I believe so. The Fenix TK41 is just a very nice light. I can't say the finish is better than on the Sunwayman flashlights. But the rectangle cutout machining on the body tube really sets this light off. And the led is perfectly centered. And I love all the modes that it has. The V60C would make my top 4 picks of best lights to own. The Sunwayman T40CS and Olight M3X would be in that top 4 as well. And actually the T40CS is my second favorite flashlight I own right now.

Misfire,

Could you PM me the place you got your tk41 from? I have been looking at that light myself and was trying to get it at the best price possible.

Thanks

I got mine frow www.shopwiseguys.com when they had 10% off. I think I paid $93 shipped. But they are more now. I can help you find the cheapest price. Go to ebay and type in Fenix TK41 in the search box. Then get the lowest price but concentrate on the best seller instead of just saving a few bucks. Compare prices from different companies. Sometimes they run specials. Check that site I posted.

Welcome to BLF, paths!

Also try Shane at shane@protacticalshop.com and tell him Brad said you would give me one of the best bottom $ prices for a Fenix TK41. He's one of the best to deal with. That's if you live in the US. He'll get you a light in 3 days almost guaranteed.

+1 on Shane.

Shane is most helpful.

Aloha and welcome to BLF paths!

Our "house cat" made a daring night escape this evening, managed to get outside about 8:45pm, when there are a lot of coyotes around. The cat was gone about 15 minutes before anyone realized it, so he had a jump on us.

I live in a pretty rural area, lots of trees, brush, and space between properties.

I grabbed my TK41, wife had a P-60 (SkyRay) and son had a Pocket Rocket P60.

This is a situation in which the TK really shined (pun intended). I never even put it on Turbo mode, ran it for about a half hour on High, and it was just the perfect light to look for glowing eyes in the brush with. If you are ever trying to find something alive in woodsy-brushy terrain, the TK is what you want, and the side clicky is really appreciated since you aren't typically over-handing the light when you are hiking around, easier to carry it at your hip.

And you really notice the bright spill that it gives off. Now I wish I had three of them.

Found the cat, it had slipped around the side of the house and into a neighbor's garage.

Back into solitary confinement again for the feline.

Seriously, as long as I don't have to pocket-carry it, I can't imagine a better all around light than the TK41,
