[Sale] Buck drivers 20, 21, 22, 24, 30mm L6, MF01, MF02/04(S), TN40S/42, BLF GT, Acebeam X45/65

Hi Lexel. I guess you received my payment for two drivers, just cant see my name on your spread sheet. I slipped you a couple of dollars extra so all should be good here.

Had not much time today to update the picture, wiil do now

Please add me for 2 driver’s for MF02

Interested

Nice stuff. :+1:
I have no use for it though, unless it could output 6Volts on 3S battery config.

Must say though, those traces on the Sinkpad 12V XHP boards sure look flimsy.

The driver should do fine with 3S to 6V, but its current is with 6A Inductor nowhere near DD drivers,
maybe crank it up to 8A or so ask DEL what the inductor and Diode can do and if the capacitors need to be changed

I also worked on TN42 size

Got today some stuff in a Mouser parcel for TA and GT drivers

Just a little comparison from BLF MF02 Inductor with stock driver ones
could do this basically to all components of the Buck regulators current parts

O that’s interesting.
6 Amperes is enough for me, i’m thinking XHP50.2 with a 68mm 10° TIR in a Courui, but it has to be 34mm or less in diameter…

yeah for 6A I need to stack a 2. shottky diode

I asked DEL if more or other caps needed

What a big difference. I didn’t know what I was meant to be looking at for a second.

How much current does this driver give to the led? 12V/2,5A like BLF GT? And if it is using with xhp 50/70?

I am not a modder just courious. You wrote that it will work with xhp 50/70.

The driver for MF02 XHP35 LED is 2.5A same as the GT, same UI
for XHP50/70 can be higher current

I am discussing with DEL the needed changes
So far Buck frequency changed from 800 to 500kHz
input and output caps doubled, the design already has pads to fit 2 caps instead one
Diode 3A to 5A
inductor from 6A to 15.5A

6-8A should be no problem to get to

If I understand correctly:
In currently state this “BLF GT” driver with 12V/2,5A can run a xhp35 about 2500lumens, xhp50.2 at 3600lm, 70.2 at 4400 lumens (from Texas Ace’s charts).

The modified version of this with 12V/6-8A can run a xhp50.2 at maximum (5000 lm) , 70.2 at 8500-9500 lumens at 6-8A. Maybe kill the xhp 50 at 8A, and will it kill a xhp35 already over 3A? So is is not recommended using this high current driver with xhp35?

The drivers are build for the current you ask for, so its like you want 2A or 4A no problem to change that on every order
Just going over 5A needs better parts that add cost

Keep in mind those current numbers are for keeping a high efficiency, of course you can get more out than 5A of the original design, but the efficiency goes down and heat up

Possibly interested. Not quite sure if I’ll keep the light or not yet.
But thanks for your commitment for the community!

hmmm im tempting to get this driver too but ill wait for others mod their lights

Intrested for 1.

UI question.

Will this have the ramp stopping short of max, with double tap for turbo?

If so, roughly what would the % be when built for 8A xhp70.2?

Thinking I may have to get one of these along w/a couple more of the TA drivers.

The ramping can be short of 100% or be programmed to 100% as the Q8 as you wish

the code for GT is 201/255 for max ramping table

paid already

If no mod the battery carrier, Keep 2S2P.

Can be used in 6V for XHP50 or XHP70?
