I was privileged enough to see this light first hand last Friday and ltp pictures just dont do it justice. Its an amazingly compact large, little triple. Nice work ltp and really nice work. :+1:
a lot of your old pictures are unavailiable as photobucket does not support 3. party sharing anymore
sorry this thread has become a bit hit and miss
I have deleted a lot and just put some finished pics up
due to the photobucket issue…
Well I have been assembleing a bit of stuff for another build
4 x 21700 cells
1 x xhp70.2 5000 tint
L6 smooth reflector
bistro driver from lexel
12’’ of plastic rod
and some alloy
1st up battery holder
hogged it out a bit in the milldrill
All the slots done
Enough for today.
Cool, looking forward to this :sunglasses:
Me as well.
A little more this arvo wired the magazine
hopefully nothing will explode
Looks good. How big is the diameter?
I see you have your nuts showing there. :person_facepalming:

56mm .
Coming along nicely.
A little more progress today
mounted a alloy hyd cylinder in the lathe
did a little knurling and madea square thread
trimmed it off in the hacksaw
cleaned it up in the lathe and bored it out to suit battery holder ,pictured with what will be the head
What pitch is your square thread?
I guess you wont be out in the shed today because of the heat.
2.2 mm
a little progress today made a retaining ring for switch it will be held with a few screws from the rear
so I will now have to rewire the battery holder
next time we will start on the head.
Were you planning on using an e-switch? The tail switch is now the main switch or lock-out function?
tail clicky only, was going to be in the head but would have made the light longer
Nice work LTP!!
Nice progress
