I placed an order and just wanted to check the status (tracking number) but seem to have forgotten the password (I tried a few variations, but no dice). I went through the “Forgot your password?” routine, was supposed to have been emailed a reset code, but nothing happened. Did it a second time (the next day, plenty of time to have received the first), still nothing.

Tried consulting the support/faq, but nothing much came up.

I definitely looked in junk/spam lists to see if the reset code got bounced there, but nothing.

Is there any way to request that someone there reset the code manually for me? Thanks!

Also, I got 2 separate emails sent to me just fine after the order was placed, but the tracking number wasn’t in there. The “contact us!” link in the email is what I followed, as well as trying to log in from the main page on the website.

Hey, has anyone tried any of the doodads on the website? Is any of it working?

I really don’t think I forgot my password, but still can’t seem to log in. “Contact us!” first goes to the search our knowledge-base page. “No, really, contact us!” almost instantly bounced me to the log-in/sign-up page. I sent an email to cs@zanbase.com, no reply. “Forgot your password?” supposedly sent me the reset code, twice that I did it, and no email was received, not even to any junk/spam box.

What’s odd is that I did get 2 emails after ordering, essentially the same ’though the 2nd was a bit more fleshed-out. Gave me the order number, but not the tracking number. That’s all I’m trying to get, the tracking number. But it’s like the site is running on autopilot, and most of the controls don’t work.

I normally try a small “test” order on a new site before ordering anything bigger, and this isn’t giving me any warm-fuzzies. Just curious if anyone else played with the site, and if it works.

My experience:

On November 1st I ordered and paid for one of the new Zanflare F3 AAA flashlights from Zanbase . com. I received an email that they had received my order and payment, and would be emailing me the tracking information. I didn’t hear anything more, and didn’t receive the flashlight.

Any attempt to get info from the website just sent me back to the log in screen, so I sent an email to cs @ zanbase . com on December 22nd saying that I hadn’t received the flashlight and asking for tracking information. Got no response.

I filed a paypal claim on January 6th, and zanbase . com didn’t respond to the claim so I got a full refund from paypal this morning.

Oh, wow. That’s… scary.

I was wondering if there might’ve been some snafu on the website, that something just needed fixing. That’s why I do “trial orders” of something small before ordering anything big ($:money_mouth_face:.

What’s silly is that I paid for tracking/insurance/whatever, just in case. Might just have to go the PP route if there’s still no answer here.

After my 3rd attempt to do a password-reset so I could check the order, I did eventually get an email of just a single image (png), and it was apparently broken. Sent it to my work email, so Outhouse handled it, and it wouldn’t display the pic, and just trying to save the pic made Outhouse hang for a minute or two, then nothing could read the saved image. Even tried forwarding it to gmail, and no joy there, either.

Oy…

We are sorry for that. Could you PM me your order number and I check it for you? Though you have got the refund, I want to find out the reason.

I responded to your PM with a copy of the message I received when I placed my order on November 1st saying that you had received my payment and would provide shipping information. That’s the last communication I received from you - you didn’t respond to my email to your customer service department on December 22nd, to the message I sent through paypal on January 6th, or to paypal’s request for information from you. Very poor customer service.

Is there any way to reset the password so I can hopefully find a tracking number? That’s all I really wanted… Tnx!
