Nice comparison, even more parts are identical than mentioned thusfar.
A bit worrying that they have the same switch+driver, I hope that it does not imply that the EDC05 will have the same switching problems as the UT01?

Has the EDC05 the same problem with protected batteries as the others? Too short tube.

Nice… the XPL HI in the EDC105 should throw a tighter more concentrated hot spot (all else being equal). Do you observe this?
Does the EDC05 have user selectable mode brightness like the UT and E11?
