I live just a little north of Marshfield and work out near Wausau. It seems like a real warmup when it’s like –8 or –9 compared to where it has been. When it gets into the really low temps, it’s the dryness in the air that I notice so much.
I got a user manual with it, like 8.5x11 piece of paper folded into a an accordion shape.
CHECK YOUR BATTERY CARRIERS, WHEN I LIFTED THE TOP ONE THERE WAS A SCREW SITTING THERE THAT WAS NOT PUT IN.
I put it in with a 2mm allen wrench and checked the others, the rest were fine and tight.
The manual was posted someplace. I think in Steels thread.
The support thread is not quite ready yet. My getting sick for the last week threw a wrench in those plans. Tom said he was going to finish updating the Narsil manual for the thread soon as well.
Hopefully the support thread should be active in a week or so if all goes well.
I got a text saying it was going to be delivered today around 2pm, no estimated time of delivery, around 3 I got a voicemail from the delivery guy saying he can’t make it up my hill, and to call him back. Called him back, left a message, and called about 4 more times and no answer. Got back into town around 4, and passed the DHL van about 3 miles from my house…
Someone or two mentioned their package getting forwarded to the post office for final delivery. Add me to that list, and I’ll be waiting until next week too. Maybe Monday since the post office works over the weekend.
