Just to be on the safe side. I didnt see in your description if this light has low voltage cutoff. Im assuming the only thing that changed from the original is the body, From the origanl Ti LAN post i thought i saw a NO low voltage protection statement. Thanks again Robert love the light.
There’s no LVP, but you don’t need it for AA’s. The battery tube was made longer to accommodate a protected 14500 if you deem necessary. Personally, I don’t use protected cells on anything except camping lanterns.

I’m curious did anyone test the lumens? Where did you get the 180 lumen official rating? Because even the upcoming Reylight Ti Lan V3 is only rated at 130 lumens. I’m thinking of whether to get V2 or waith for V3 with memory mode.
I have no idea where Rey tested the lumens. You’d have to ask him. Really doesn’t matter since this is the smooth battery tube sales thread. It depends whether or not you want that oval machined into your battery tube or not.
If you want one of these, I will have the V3 driver for them sometime next week if you want one. Will include it for free.
