XM-L P60 Drop in from DinoDirect , 5 mode ...

I mean these have last memory mode

Sorry yes , after turning of the light , it will come on in the same level , if you wait 15 seconds ... any sooner and it will start in the next mode ...

[ I knew I forgot something ]

Thanks just ordered them, now u will have to show me how to change them out,lol

Got mine today...wow all this fancy documentation just for a $9 sale. That in itself is somewhat impressive...as if DD is trying to start off with new customers with a good first impression. Mine says Ultrafire on it and is an SMO reflector, not the LOP that I was expecting.

Yeah, nice Christmas card ;)

is that fish looking thing a air freshener?

No, it's for your headphone (for the cable).

Still waiting for mine, its been 32 days today

I made other orders from China and Hong Kong around the same time, they only took 5-10 days.

+1 gonna dispute in2 days

I was going to wait for 40 days or at least until Friday, so yeah maybe 2 days as well. (its Wednesday night here)

I have about $200 worth of stuff ordered from them split over 4 orders, then they marked nearly all of them as partial shipments and only took pics of 1 item in each when I ordered multiple diffrent items. And one hasn't even shipped yet.

I was thinking of putting together a light with a Solarforce body, what is the best budget drop in to use? This one from DD or the UF from Manafont? Wasn't there 2 different versions on DD (one smooth and one with an orange reflector)? Not really too sure about the differences as this stuff is very new to me so if someone could explain that would be great.

I'm looking to get an L2 or L2P, can't decide.

I have the ManaFont UltraFire 3-Mode, I'm pretty sure others have said its better than the DD drop in.

L2 and L2P are nearly the same apart from the anodizing, Id go for the L2 with the MF UF drop in but I might be bias because I already have one.

I ordered both the OP and smooth reflector drop in from DD. The smooth

one came yeasterday. Normal quality, 5 mode and just as bright as all

other XML.

Looking forward to receive the OP version.

Whats as bright as other XM-L mean to you?

I have 2 WF-501b's both with XM-L emiters, they are only half as bright to they eye as my UF MF drop in.

They are so disappointing I am just going to give them away, I feel I'd be ripping anyone off if I tried to sell them.

The ones I bought aren't as good as others here received. I'm surprised some of you are seeing 3.5A draw. On an Xtar 18700 mine only pull 2A where the same light with a UF XM-L drop-in pulls 2.7A.

Side by side comparison the DD drop-ins are noticeably less bright.

All my dino's XM-L's (with in 504B bodies) were around 2A. The only exception was the single mode (ordered a 5 mode) that drew 1,4A. Funny tho.

Even R5's single modes were preforming lower than wanted (800-850mA but those would accept 8,4V apparently. Never tried though.)

At one time i was happy to have recieved one with an off center XM-L. Turns out it the star was 12mm one so i took it out and put a 16mm in it. I always wanted a 12mm star XM-L. Now i have it. :) Perhaps i will try it in my C3 SS with stock driver.

I have no equipment to measure brightness, so I cant give a figure. I measured the the amps

which was 2, so its not driven very hard.

But for the price paid, nearly 9$, you get a XML T6, a driver, a pill and a reflector, so if you mod, as I

do, it was a good deal. A driver change to 3.5 amps, and it will be just as bright as any from MF

True dat! I just wish we had more choices among US sellers and free shipping too. Can’t have everything, I guess.

My drop in, as was reviewed in post #1, came today. 5 mode and smooth reflector

(not OP as advertised). Current draw 3.5 amps, so its another driver than in the

one that came a few days ago. All told a good buy for close to 9$. Most XML T6

cost that much by itself.
