Just a suggestion to save you folks fielding the unending identical questions repeated over and over… Maybe a FAQ that can be linked to for Giggles? Just handle questions that the FAQ doesn’t address and add them to the FAQ as required.

I have used the hose attachment on the Vacuum cleaner to suck the dust out through the emitter hole before.

Agree. Is there a way to ‘sticky’ a shipping update thread so that it always at the top? It certainly would leave things looking much less convoluted.

Going to touch up a few more thing’s before assembly.
The Miller set up this group buy so that all posts come through here. He did not want additional threads. Maybe he felt people would get confused by mutiple threads? IDK. It’s just unfortunate that he took ill and had to miss out on the big release of the GT. Up until then, things where going pretty smooth as he was handling things, greeting new members, updating the list and updating post #1. I think things still went pretty smooth in his absence. Yeah, we had a lot of repeat questions, but we had the same situation in the Q8 GB were post #1 was always updated. Folks still asked the same old questions. You just can’t avoid that. Lol.
Several folks in the Q8 group buy, myself included, asked for new threads just for people to say “mine is ordered” or a thread just to say “I got mine, look at it”, etc… (those types of posts take up huge space) but he did not want that.
It’s his group buy so we are somewhat limited without him. Luckily, we are almost done with the GT. Another month or two and this thread will start to dwindle.
There have been a lot a great ideas to make future group buys better, though. Maybe they can be used on the FW3A as it has not gotten into full swing, yet. There are a lot of interesting flashlight ideas floating around so I’m sure there will be future BLF designed flashlights with group buys. We learn a little more with each one on how to make things go smoother.
