*BLF LT1 Lantern Project) (updated Nov,17,2020)

It will not be a backpacking lantern by my standards. My guess is 1.5-2 pounds. I would love to see a nice lantern running off one 18650 or even one 18350 cell. For backpacking trips where I look to trim ounces off my pack weight I am always looking for tools that serve multiple purposes. With this is mind, I always end up leaving the UCO lantern at home and just adding a diffuser to my kit that fits the light I am bringing. I know that the light from this lantern will be much nicer than my diffuser tip provides, but sometimes sacrifices must be made.

For me, this will be a lantern for hunting and fishing trips and use around the house and cabin.

Interested as well.

I am in for one. Please put me on the list.
Happy New year!!

Way off topic, but, do you play volleyball? I was at a volleyball tournament a few years ago, it might have been USA Nationals in New Orleans, and an adult mens team named Mornin Wood was playing.

I am interested in 1. Thank you

Ha! That’s a good name. No, that wasn’t me. I haven’t been using this name for that long.

Please add me to the list.

Please add me as well, thanks.

Interested in two. Thanks!

Please add me to the list for 1.

did i miss the target price ?

Not at all, its been slow progress as i have been dealing with some rough months to push on this at the moment. I hope to try to get the ball rolling soon, (if the rest of the team have not abandoned this project already due to other projects ongoing or other reasons atm.

interested

Excited to see some movement on this project. I have not been able to find a good LED lantern for any price.

Please add me to the list for 2. Thanks …

Super interested this as long as it stays with a very warm tint that’s near incandescent and price is reasonable. Please add me to the list for 1 to be notified when pricing is available.

Please add me to the list. Thank you.

Please add me to the list! Interested as long as color temp stays near incandescent or warmer and price is reasonable.

I spoke to some friends about this over the holidays. Put me down for 3 more.

I think this project really hits on a big missing niche in the market.
