It is generally pretty hard to change the owner of a post, I know when I used to admin a few sites we tried it a few times but always seemed to cause more harm then good. But then this site is custom made, so maybe it is not so bad.

Not sure the cost but the led alone is $138. id guess the mod to be 300ish
For a driver you need a typical “single” cell fet driver , and carriers modded to 4P . These would cost 20$ to 50$ …

LATEST NEWS: Same as last couple of days.
It appears that the first shipment went out by region instead of the exact order in which we paid for cost reasons. Initial quality has been fantastic.
The first shipment of lights (168 total) shipped on Dec 23. This was a pallet going to the USA from the first 576th person on the paid list that did not include batteries. Tracking numbers went out on Dec 27 and lights started arriving to customers on Dec 29th. DHL shipping was very fast.
There should be a European order going out in January.
The next group to purchase lights (#1000 and up on the list) will get their emails mid January instead of early January in order to let Neal get caught up with current orders.

Lund1660 did your dad have it on turbo? If I remember correctly there is high mode but a double click yields turbo. (anybody, am I correct on that?)
This site isn’t really custom made, not from scratch. Its Drupal, almost certainly leveraging their pre-made forum module. Its customized a bit I know, maybe enough to make something like what was suggested a bit easier, but I’m sure there’s still tons of “stock” Drupal code running here. And yeah, doing something like changing the owner of a thread isn’t usually as easy as it sounds.

I went back a few pages, but I guess not far enough to find my answer. Lights with batteries haven’t shipped right? I requested DHL and paid on December 1st and am #81 on the list.
So far the same as you. Only shipping info received, no pickup.
That status is from Saturday 30 december. I hope the status will change today or tomorrow, that means I could have it here by Friday or Saturday if then deliver on Saturday.
As of this moment as far as we know they haven’t shipped yet.

FWIW, the bezel comes off fairly easily using a car tire to grip it. 
The glass lens is 125.6mm in diameter, 2.9mm thick. The AR coating seems to have still been wet when mine was assembled, the o-ring was stuck to it so strongly that it left some black bits of rubber behind on the lens when I removed it.
The AR coating seems to be pretty good, with the white emitter I used (unknown power bin) I was seeing 2049.31 lumens with the lens installed. With no lens at all I see 2176.95 lumens, only a 127.65 lumens drop from the lens. Very decent.
Anyone know if the driver can handle 6S cell voltage?
Overall runtime would decrease, but it would be nice to have a longer regulated Turbo mode. In addition to cell carrier modifications, the LVP would need to be adjusted.

Thanks for the very good description of the lanyard ring. Mine was barely turnable until I took it apart as you described and lubed it up better. Now it turns easier but still tight enough so I am not worried about it letting water through.
As for the threads being reversed, they are still right-handed but because you are turning the part out the back instead of the front it seems backwards compared to many things that use a spanner to loosen. So if someone else does this just turn the center piece clockwise. Don't think of it as a left-handed thread.
