Came home, GT was sitting at front door. Works great!
Not comfortable using it in the neighborhood - people may think they have prowlers immediately outside their windows if the beam hits a house. Beam reminds me of using a magnifying glass on the sun - quite bright against the surroundings!
It may not get used as much as my other lights, but this is my favorite.
#1280? I didn’t know anyone that high on the list got sent an email with the payment instructions. I wonder if it was a fluke? I thought only up to #1039 got the email.
Anyway, with 362 lights shipped there are roughly 500 other people just like you. Another shipment of 150 to 200 lights are said to go out late this week.
TA is holding back the emails for all the #1040 and up people until mid January in order to give Neal a chance to fill these last 500 orders. They can only produce 200 or so lights a week due to their size. Especially the giant reflectors.
This is the nature of Group Buys. It’s not like buying a light on a shelf at a store.
Yea… In fact when I looked out about 300 yards and saw no uptick at all I figured they were low. Real low. First 4 just finished charging…

Let’s not jump to conclusions. He said he got his paypal receipt and the email from Neal, so it sounds legit.
He is also protected using Paypal. He can always file a claim if need be.

Edit, I sent TA a PM to see if he was sent the purchase information. There might have been a few people accidentally sent the Purchase info who shouldn’t have. It was a mass PM setup by the forum owner so not perfect.
I’m just concerend as i never received any email confirmation or anything when i sent payment & placed order. (zero reply or email) I used to always get some kind of email confirmation from the seller. nothing now for a month. Everyone else here say they got a email confirmation or something when they place their order.
I wonder how many new members have signed up due to wanting to buy the GT…?
Would be interesting to get some stats.

Wow, that is impressive, I had similar experience when lighting up the towers near me. I went out planning on shining it at one of them, and then swung it around to the other and was surprised when it lit up.
This is why we settled on 2A and 2.5A. The difference between them is hard to see with the human eye and going even further to 3A has an even smaller effect.
