Being overly critical just because this is not another blue light for mindless consumers - this is what might have triggered folks who actually know their light. Falsely interpreting a video to show things that are not there is another.

I think you are being overly critical. I don’t see where anyone has asked for “another blue light for mindless consumers”.
Neutral white is just that Neutral.
Not “Blue” & “Not Yellow/Orange”.

Jason I have already received my light since i was in the first group and didn’t get batteries. I think the guys in the first group are a little bit annoyed because they (we) put in a down payment to prove to Lumintop that there would be enough interest in this huge and expensive light to make it in the first place. Without those payments Lumintop may well have not jumped on board with the project. This happened several months before there was
A timeline for completion, and we took it on faith to trust Neal, blf team, and Lumintop to deliver, and boy did they deliver!! It could have went the other way

Maybe we can add a disclaimer to all group buys stating that the seller will try their best to give early sign ups prefered shipping, but it can’t be guaranteed. Lol

This is still better than the Q8 GB in which everyone got to buy at the same time. First come first served.

Correct. What I was referring to and forgot to be clear, was the ability to illuminate targets for human eyes at distance under real life conditions, as is the primary purpose of a so called thrower, in most people’s opinion.

With these defining details it becomes fact instead of opinion.

“better” will depend on what someone prefers.
Just like 10k lumens and 100m throw isn’t better than 100 lumens and 10km throw, it completely depends on what the person wants.

I will also point out that a lot of people who tested/bought the GT mentioned how much everyone they showed it to was amazed by the beam, including themselves.

Honestly? Oh, I saw this video earlier, and my reaction was positive. Color wise, this footage tells more about his camera and cameras in general than the lights. The warmer should not be that yellowish IRL and the cooler should not be very bluish. And comparable CT’s are not, when you have no reference point to another high power light. Both are somewhat neutral.

I never got the feeling that LuminousIgnis was trying to set up an attack on Spartan16 by asking what lights they have. If anything it could offer some insight into what tints and temperatures they have personally experienced.

I know I read this quite a while ago but is everyone in the first 1500 getting one light before those that bought 2 get their second? And then everyone who bought two, gets their second before those that bought 3, get their third. And so on and so on?

No, only the first 555 got single lights due to the special low price. Then from 555 and up you can get your 2nd, 3rd, etc…

Just want to be sure I understand what you said above. Are you saying that those who ordered multiple lights at the same time and are above #555 would theoretically get all the lights they ordered at the same time/same shipment?

Based on that, I am 818, 819 and 886. Should I have maybe got two - the 818 and 819 today instead of 1? And maybe the third, 886 is waiting on the reflector backlog? Seems kind of strange if multiple orders over List #555 are supposed to ship at the same time. This coupled with the light arriving in only the inner box gets me to thinking that maybe something has happened to the rest of my shipment in transition from DHL to USPS?

Would each light have a separate tracking number?

Oh, it seemed like you were going to criticize him if he didn’t have many flashlights, or didn’t have any warm white flashlights, or something like that.
