They wanted to offer a charging unit that will charge 4 18650 cells (2 latest lights are the new MT09R and the MT03 with the new TA style driver. Both are quad 18650's. The concept was in place prior to the MT09R that is why the wording was that way nothing else... I just walked out of .y local Walgreens they have a 2800mAh power bank in there for almost 20 dollars. This charger/power bank is worth way more than he is offering it in this group buy if it does nothing but charge 4 18650's and act as a power bank.
That I am aware of it does not in anyway fit onto either light...
^ I wondered what the “R” stood for in MT09R. Usually an R in the end means rechargeable, and I would not be surprised if it’s related to this charging unit.
He is working the details on that out now. As soon as I know I will post it.

Some individuals were expecting a lower price. Myself, I’m just waiting for reviews to be posted in case there are significant issues with the light. I’m very interested in purchasing one, but I am cautious due to previous QC issues seen with some Haikelites.
Well, there is no review yet. We’re all waiting for Terry to receive the review sample(s). Once Terry has published the review… then… we… go… LOCO! 
Yep and that should be almost any day this week. I already have everything set up and ready to take the measurements I need to estimate distance so even if they show up on a day that I am scheduled to work I can get that information posted quickly. I am only scheduled to work 2 nights this week so I hope luck is with me and it will be one of my nights off.
I have plans to show the distance shots as best I can show them. One of the great things about this little state is there are still plenty of places left that you can light up a distance of 600 to 900 meters. I just hope the camera gear lets it be seen. I am trying to get my wife to come out on these with me and use the Rebel to take some correctly exposed stills in case the video does not looks as good.
I have read almost everything that is on paper about these 2 lights and with the new drivers they can easily make the grade.
I have also put a lot of thought in the pricing... There is a lot of pricing issues that is not known to everyone. It would be impossible to go into any detail without causing some kind of issue but I can say that most of the latest models were priced far below what was supposed to be. But even if all of that is left forgotten I did a brief study.
The Imalent DT 70 still sell for between $180.00 and $220.00 max output was said to be 16k lumen, I am still not aware of anyone that got even close to claimed light levels and the DT35 was the same BangGood has it priced at $244.00 right now and again it has never hit the numbers claimed.
The Haikelite MT03 with the new TA style driver hits the claimed 12k lumen pretty easily ad so far the MT09R has hit the claimed numbers as well.
So Imalent still selling for twice the price and is only half the light. The retail pricing on these is still an excellent price for a 15k lumen thrower and a serious distance thrower that hits the 7500 lumen and while I can'y show that it will throw out to 800 or better meters the math shows it should. I have always been one that the math is only part of the overall picture. I am one that wants to see it..
So if both hit their numbers and work as claimed they wil be half the price of the Imalents and twice the light. I can deal with the retail as long as performance is up to the task.
I honestly believe it will be. In a few more days we will find out for sure and I am way past ready lol....

Just sent my deposit for 1 Green MT09R 70.2 NW at $125.00 4 Sony VCT6 at $20.00. I am interested in the charger as well but more interested in what Terry finds once the light is received and more info on the charger. It looks like the charger is a great deal either way…
These are cool lights at good prices but calling them “twice the light of the imalents at half the price” is just incorrect.
The dt70 is regularly (and currently) available with code for $150 which is 20% higher price than this mt09R not 2x the price, the performance should be very similar and the imalent has an oled screen. The dt35 is also available for $129 on coupon. So the pricing of these mt09R is marginally better, not 1/2 price. If it was 1/2 price people will be snapping them up very quickly.
This is Budget light forum… If we are spending $200+ on an imalent it’s going to be the 32,000 Lumen dx80 for $216… Not a dt35 for $244 let’s be realistic.

Yes i believe its up to you, if u decided what light etc u can pay the full, if u know u want the light but havent decided color or emitter yet u can only pay for now the 15$ as interest and when its ready to ship out the lights u can then write what u want, this is how i see it someone if im wrong correct me….

This sale may run a bit past the orignal ending date if all the units have not sold. Once my samples arrive and the performance it as it should be sell out of any of this 300 left will be quick. There aree a lot of names I would almost always see that I do not see a post. They are all stull members lol many much longer thab me and they are like I am. As soon as the first review posts then they decide. Lol either way it will be loads of fun. I love testing totally new lights. And these are totally new. All the way down to the drivers so it may actually surpass what any of us expect and that is when it really gets fun.
