This is a rough list of people from the 3rd shipment who have either got tracking notices or received their light. These are all international orders and only DHL as far as I know.
Canada, with batteries, second group, 775 or 975# depends on the source, Shipped on 9th, yet to be received, it’s in Ohio…… ya know…. some kind of purgatory for flashlights…
i think you are referring to the Negative Led wire on the right of the above photo. if this wasnt connected the Led (XHP35 HI) would not work.
there is also a smaller black wire that leads to the switch. you can see it on the left under the red and white wires, im guessing this is the one in question.
If the light was delivered by Banggood,I would have already it via priority mail,(half the time of the registered mail), with the bonus of neither had been inspecting it by Customs nor paying a penny in taxes and fees.
I tried to pass the information to several guys of the GT team plus Neal, but I couldn’t succeed in getting this option.
Yay! #123 on the list finally shipped and delivered to Canada. I was very impressed with DHL shipping. I had to pay $20CAD to customs but the light shipped Tuesday and delivered Wednesday so I am still happy to go with DHL.
Like normal, if I missed anything let me know. Only get a little while in the morning to really catch up on things. The rest of the day I am on my phone and I gave up trying to post anything but very short replies on that long ago.
I have no idea what method they are using, the language barrier made it hard to get this kind of info so we just let it go.
As you saw, that was Jason, I don’t have near enough time to keep up with things like that now days. I am lucky to keep up with the details behind the scenes.
I am thinking you ae right, combined with the faster feedrate that it seems like they are using to speed production that would explain the reduced smoothness over time.
