Let me explain.
If you want to buy some batteries for $14 and you have to pay $6 shipping, youāre gonna look for a better deal somewhere else.
If you want to buy a light and you have a coupon code that reduces the price to $10 but there is $2 shipping cost, youāre gonna look for a better deal somewhere else.
With coupon codes most of the time you can not combine shipping with other items either, so it adds up when you buy several items each month.
So youāre gonna look somewhere else for better deals.
This is not necessarily the customers problem, but Gearbestās problem if they donāt want to lose customers.
And it has always been free shipping on Gearbest, but this has changed recently for some countries.
Have to say, because of customers feedback about their packagesā damage, we closed some shipping options, the replacement measure will be announced to our members.

I have noticed too how some shipping methods are not an option anymore. Iād say this is just good team work between Gearbest and customers. :+1: :partying_face:
While it is true that some shippers might damage packages more, Iāve had damages from even the paid shipping options. In fact, I just got a DHL package which did not show signs of external damage, but the productās plastic corner was completely broken off. This was shipped with just the thin product display box stuffed inside another thin carboard box. If there had been even a small amount of foam or bubble wrap, the product likely wouldāve survived intact. Iāve also had other items shipped in just a plain plastic envelope and get crushed when clearly a small box shouldāve been used. So rather than just taking away the low cost shipping options, Gearbest should also look seriously into improving packaging methods.
