Hi Acebeam!
I sent PM (December 19th) and Iā€™ve sent e-mail (today) to the indicated address [info@acebeam.com], but I received a ā€œmessage not deliveredā€ indication due to ā€œ554 DT:SPM Spam message is rejected because of anti-spam policy.ā€

As the e-mail failed, I hope you can see the PM (that is equal to the e-mail) when you have time

Thanks in advance and best regards :+1:

Hi,

Acebeam contacted me here 7 weeks ago if I would like to test their new L30.
Unfortunately I was a little late with e-mail reply because of the time zone so another member got the last test sample as he replied faster.
So already asked Acebeam-Jack for next light like the K65 to test it in advance.
But never got a reply for my mail.

Best regards

Has anyone attended for the review? I am very curious about this product.

Cheers.

Hi barican90!
Well, at least to me Acebeam didnā€™t reply, neither to PM nor to the e-mail I sent. Maybe they didnā€™t like my reviewing profile :zipper_mouth_face: :stuck_out_tongue:
I donā€™t know if other members got any answer, though.

But Iā€™m sure there will be any reviews here and perhaps you can find some things on Youtube!

Hello,
Thank you. The applications were due to 2nd of January so I figured someone must have gotten the review. Cheers.

I am still wondering how they dedomed the led, was it by cutting it with a blade or chemical dedome, a beamshot to see the resulting beam and tint would be great!

I asked but no reply

Sorry to say this, but now I donā€™t feel so alone in the void of Acebeamā€™s answers

Maybe theyā€™ll reply usā€¦some day :zipper_mouth_face:

Yeah strange

on the L30 they wrote me a PM to give em my shipping address for a review light.
I was night later too late with reply, this time they ignored me.

I asked if its possible to get a newer model for review if they release it and they said thats OK.

I didnā€™t get a reply on my email , or ever got a PM answer :stuck_out_tongue:

THey PMed and mailed me, but I got no review light very frustrating

Well, at least you got some answers Lexel and the possbility for a future light review, according to their answer

I just find it strange that a so well-known company like this opens a thread for a review campaign, asks for ā€œsubmissionsā€ for the interest, receives PMs and e-mails, and doesnā€™t give a simple ā€œYesā€ or ā€œNoā€!

I believe that hundreds of people must have submitted their names and from those Acebeam had to pick some according to the profiles and the manufacturer own interest ! Ok, nothing wrong with that! I would probably not fit the requirements, so Iā€™m fine with the choice.

BUT, I wish that at least they would say something here or a simple ā€œstandardā€ e-mail or PM message to those that have submitted, either from this member account or any representative person here!!

Just my point of view, of course! :arrow_right:

I got one for testing. Quick preliminary Turbo numbers from the NW version which is significantly warmer than the 5000K stated on the box. Probably a side effect of dedoming.

Output with 4x30Q: 5160 lm (steps down at 6 minutes in 24Ā°C room without cooling)
Throw: 203kcd
CCT: 4174K
Duv: 0.0046 (yellowish warm)
CRI: 68

Iā€™m happy that the single switch interface has been updated from X65/X80/K30 and no longer requires two double clicks for turbo.

Great news. We would like to see the review but I want to ask for your personal opinion about K60 versus K65. Which one is better?

The K65 has a bit more output and significantly more throw and I personally prefer the side switch to the rear switch+ring of the K60, but thatā€™s just subjective. I know many people love the magnetic control ring.

Thereā€™s no big difference in light quality with stock emitters. Both of mine have a significant greenish/yellowish tint and shift, but the K65 has more artifacts in the beam because of the smoother reflector. Iā€™m not too happy with the overall tint and shift on the NW K65.

With a shaved dome high CRI 5000K XHP70 my K60 is very nice though. The removal of the dome and the orange peel reflector both help with the shift. This can of course be done with the K65 as well if you donā€™t mind the decrease in output.

Thank you very much mate. You have given a perfect response. I appreciate it.

Cheers.

Thanks for the input on the flashlight maukka

I found a pic of the LED on a facebook page, Looks like they are doing a chemical dedome, I wonder if they are using Toluene or some other chemical to prevent the tint from changing, What do you think? Or is it just cut flush? Sorry for the BIG picutreā€¦
