They don’t provide tracking codes, only in the beginning US buyer got their codes. After that, no codes. Not very professional.

Maybe not, but I think they kind of bit off more then they could chew on this group buy. They wanted the first 555 to put a deposit to prove there was interest. I think they were skeptical that they would actually sell 555, not to mention 1500+. Companies like lumintop are not used to selling to individual people either. They typically only sell wholesale to retailers. Yes, Neil is used to retail selling and shipping, but this is pretty large scale considering all of the steps involved from manufacturing to the end results of getting them shipped
That could be the explanation for it, but nevertheless it’s a bit annoying there is no communication about this.

yes, that’s the exiting part of it, every day is a surprise. You never know when the DHL or local post car stops at your house with a huge box. Smile

It is cumbersome to show your pics here. Always wondered why they insist on file hosting…

Do you know how much more server space we would need if the site also hosted all of the images posted here?

That makes sense. Can you tell me what FREE site(s) are good to use, if any? I remember searching a few different ones in the past but they all wanted money.

I know very well, but the hysterics with GT changed the forum. Kindergarten or do not know what …

I picked up this lowepro lens case off amazon for the GT. Just barely big enough and well padded.

If there’s a model number I don’t see it. The tag says the same as the amazon link. “Lens case 13×32 cm”

Many people need the Tracking Number because of a customs declaration. But unfortunately there is not much information. Wink

Blf doesn’t use moderators and frankly most of us like the absolute free exchange of ideas without having to placate some arbitrary person who likely has no more knowledge than you do. Of course there are other site who have lots and lots of moderators and rules and if that is what someone yearns for, I say go for it! There is a lot questions and posts here because of the new members who the GT group buy has drawn. These folks have lots of questions as this is their first time and with 150$ or more on the line it’s to be expected to some degree. As more and more lights are received the extra traffic will decrease quickly. Just as the q8 thread did. Cheers!

Number 5# on the paid list…
As far as I know there is only 2 GT’s for Serbia RS, bouth with DHL shipping.
One of those two is delivered to Sirius9 some time ago and with batteries included.
Mine is without batteries and no sign of it so far.
As I used to work for DHL I have possibility to check out if anything is currently coming to my address, but nothing so far…
I am not complaining at all just would like to know if there was some confusion over shipping to me, and maybe sent with registered instead??
Can someone from the team please ask Neal, or Lumintop since I don’t want to bother them when they have too much work to do.

Thanks
NikolaS

Anyone??
Why would they shipp 1 flashlight to the country that only hawe two orders with same DHL shipping???
Nonsense

I’ve been hearing end of January as an estimate.

It is probably for the best. Having more people paid won’t help the factory make the lights any faster, and can you imagine the cries grief here if someone in the 3rd round of PMs happened to receive a GT before someone from the 1st/2nd round of PMs? Wow.

I also updated post #1 with the latest shipping news.

I didn’t realise there was a list -
I posted in the Logistics thread, mine arrived in Melbourne, AU 11th December.
No. 164 on list, shipped DHL without batteries.

DHL tracking indicated the package origin was Singapore, and sender was “CYC Company”.

So far couldn’t be happier with it – Hats off to Lumintop and the GT team!

I was getting worried about reflector quality due to a few previous posts, but this marvel has what has to be the highest quality machined aluminium reflector I have seen of this size in an LED flashlight.

Also, the tint is no where near what is shown in that video where it appears yellow. (White balance can do funny things…)

I was expecting something to go wrong when opening the package, as it was completely unsealed, and had no outer box like the video. (If it were held upside down and shaken, the contents would have fallen out!)
I blame DHL/customs for this… You can see where the tape was originally applied and later cut.
But everything was there, and not a scratch on anything. Smile

The only very slight QC issue I can think of was my threads had no grease where other members commented the grease had been applies to theirs. (Fixed in 5 seconds)

What Bozlight29 said is not true. Several people in this most recent shipment got shipping notifications/tracking numbers. Just go back and read and you will see.

I think what he meant to say was that this 3rd shipment is a mix of people getting that info and not getting it. Basically, not all the people in the 3rd shipment got tracking numbers. They just showed up.

I think you are set for registered mail. I don’t believe any of these have shipped yet. So we have to wait and see if all registered packages get sent tracking numbers or what exactly.

Nope, I just didn’t proof-read my post…
It was 11th Jan, Last week.
I have done this a few times lately – my brain telling me I need a holiday!

I thought I posted when I received the DHL notification, but not when it arrived.
Although, if you didn’t see it, I may have got distracted and not submitted it.
