I was thinking about the Vaping batteries I got, those are 40A discharge with lesser mAh since the flashlights I ordered doesn’t need anything near 10A, I decided to get couple LG MJ1 10A 3500mAh, I hope these will work okay and keep the charge long time.

Thanks for the link NeutralFan, believe me I read all 57 pages couple days ago :smiley: I even ordered some PCB’s from Oshpark, PD put a lot effort in those PCB layouts I am sure it will be good. I am not much of a SMD solder guy, but I have couple decent soldering stations (even one Proxxon, go figure :stuck_out_tongue: ) and a hot air rework station. But my eyes and hands are not that good as it used to be, but I am sure it will come around.

Here Proxxon soldering station for techies among us, it is pretty rare:

Thanks Yokiamy, €42 sounds really nice, I am subscribed for price drops on Banggood, the thing is I want to wait and get BLF A6 delivered, I had slightly bad experience with Banggood couple years ago, with my first order ever there. I order mostly from Aliexpress (1100+ orders in last couple years), Aliexpress dispute system works good.

Welkom. For a newcomer you seem to have made impressively wise choices; most of us had to buy a good deal of cheap stuff before we became educated enough to choose the lights you have ordered. If you can accept the significantly reduced run-time, try the BLF A6 with an 18350 for greater pocket-ability, one of my favorites.

Hi, Thanks for your kind words, if I didn’t found this forum with this much knowledge I wouldn’t know what to buy. For the pocket-ability I ordered a Utorch UT01. The BLF A6 will be on my belt at work.

Thanks to Yokiamy’s advice I also ordered a BLF Q8 with nice discount code from M4DM4X’s blog, I can’t thank them enough!

Good choice!

Before you know it, you become a tint snob and end up with 7 S2+ es in different tints (like me :stuck_out_tongue: )

@Yokiamy, you know I already ordered 2x tan S2+ XPL HI but looking in to a Astrolux S1 18350 in red with 18650 tube for my wife now.

Cheapest Astrolux S1 18350 I could find is at Banggood with an 18650 tube it is even cheaper than a complete package here. and you cant even choose body color, or am I doing something wrong?

I am not even going to ask “Some stop me please” now, I am deep in to this :person_facepalming: already ordered 6 flashlights even before I get one in my hands…
Oh and, I am also looking for an ON THE ROAD M3 for a right price :weary:
