[Sale] Buck drivers 20, 21, 22, 24, 30mm L6, MF01, MF02/04(S), TN40S/42, BLF GT, Acebeam X45/65

I made a 30mm layout that could be extended in my board program to the nessesary size or grinding down the 42mm TN42
The Curoi should be 38.5mm, if the edge clearance is small the TN42 could fit

I PMed everyone that was replying in this topic if I missed you please PM me

you are on the spreadsheet in line 70

So I did further testing of the drivers

With 2.5A Output I get on my bench test LED XHP70.2 12.31V
This means 31.02W output
to get this output the driver draws 2.075A at 16.14V
33.49W

so we ge an efficiency of 92.6% for turbo

Sounds pretty good to me Lexel.

Hey blf, we are going to mod the astrolux mf-02 to the best… of course xhp35 hi. Which parts do i need to order ?? Do i need a new sink pad? Thanks

You can use old Sinkpad it is pretty good
Just the LED seems not to be pretty good flux bin looks from my measurements like a D2 flux bin

You need just the driver, maybe also interested in my 2x2 LED board that supports up to 4 different LED colors

I have MF02 coming, would like to do this mod. I also have electrical school baground and soldering irons etc home.

Still bit unsure what will I need? Is this bolt-on mod requiring only battery serial modification for 12V supply with new driver?

interested

Battery carrier needs mod as shown so from 7.4 to 14.8V
Then it is just replacing old with new driver

new boards shipped

 yes they are……thank you Lexel

I’m in!!!for GT style driver…it should work just fine with my Mateminco MT35?

Got today the 2. batch boards along with more light types, was some delay from DHL because the content was just described as “boards” so they did not how to declare for import taxes

I am very happy with the quality of the boards better than last Chineese manufactory I ordered and cheaper too, multiple sizes of stencils cheap too
Especially the silkscreen is way better than last one that did not supported such small letter size which messed it up

Yes, it’s pretty much exactly the same as the Astrolux MF02.

Im interested! But same time wondering how much 70.2 would improve actual throw…?

70.2 would not improve throw at all, but with it it would become something similar to Acebeam K70 as allrounder with about 6500 Lumens

Right.
Vinh at Skylumen built and tested this light with a 70.2 plus a different driver and measured 6,700 lumen, 235kcd and 970 meters throw.

With a sliced dome it had 5200 lumen, 330Kcd and 1149 meters throw.

Two quick questions on the MF-02 driver.

1) Switch wiring, is just a connect/disconnect so polarity doesnt matter for that part correct?

2) Where is a good spot to get power for the switch leds?

A wiring diagram for the MF-02 switch set-up would be awesome if someone has one.

Heading to my shop to get this mod done now. Hopefully it goes well.

Switch shares a common ground with the LEds on the original, so wire this lead to G

S for switched ground from the siderswitch

The MF02 driver has one MCU controlled LED output (L) with resistor installed by default 33k

It is possible to add another LED with a resistor to the 5V Supply volatge
