Closed Official Haikelite MT09R *UPDATE Now including TA's Pricing for Emitter Upgrades* Closed

I need to talk to Dale to be sure but I defintly got a higher reading

Texas Avenger pretty much means FET drive to me. But then again, I’m certainly not too familiar with driver designs. Battery configuration is 2S2P, so with three 6V emitters (70.2) in parallel you can have a FET drive. We’ll see. Thanks for asking!

I need to talk to TA, like you driver design in not one of my better skills.... Well...no skill at all....

looking forward to your review Terry.

please hurry

It's uploading now... Maybe 30 more minutes...

It's posted and video uploaded. Page is here https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/49352

Just paid balance due for one mt09r, 70.2, warm white, sand tan color ($125). Also one charger ($10). No batteries. Total paid $135.

Will orders ship by January 31st, the new end date of the group buy?

Just sent down payment for MT09R white body, triple 70.2, neutral tint.

Is there any list of buyers?
What type of shipment and what order, by payment or registration?

I keep a running total of the lights ordered that remembered to post here.

With it being a factory direct order the PayPal payment print out should keep everything else organized.

Please be sure that all orders you made a notation in PayPal for the version you want, emitter tint, color, also charger and batteries.

If you added the charger after your original order it should not be a problem just be sure to make the payment for the charger and note that you already ordered your light before the news of the charger.

Shipment type will most likely be a bit different depending on where you may live. If I get a more exact answer I will post it right away.

We still have until the 31st for the group buy to run. And basically everyone is getting a custom light at least to the point of the color and emitter tint. But all of these colors will not be available in mass produced retail sales lights. All of the color choices are for this only.

Originally we were only going to run until the 15th but enough members had asked for a bit more time so he extended it to the 31st.

Yes I'm telling you when you finally get the whole one of these lights in your hand you can feel how well it's made see how well it's made and then you push that button kick it into turbo...lol you will see why I get so excited about this light.

Finally a light that is in the 15k lumen range the other 1k meter thrower that does what is claimed and it is still affordable.

Another thing that Dale will be announcing very soon is you will have service options that none of us have had in the past if we purchased a light from a China based retailer.

Some great changes coming... sorry that's really all I can say until Dale announces the future plans...

When are you gonna tear it down? Do you think the stock driver is good??

I don't want to do a tear down until after both lights have been tested and I get the data posted for everyone. If I made even a tiny mistake I do not have the parts here to repair anything that may be damaged.

It's a TA style driver and I know the company consulted with the best around for that.. So I would say that the drivers in use now are rock solid..

I know they had driver issues in the past really that was probably the single biggest problem.

Dale and the company made a great decision in consulting with people that could show the company a solution.

Many things have changed with Haikelite and more changes still to come.

Yep, unfortunately I have an 8 out of 9 fail rate (serious) with Haikelite. :person_facepalming:
I hope they get it right from now on starting with the MT09R.
