Haikelite MT09R Test/Review Beam video footage.

Yes..

I had to double check to be sure that I was right about the cost on the Imalents... Retail price for the MT09R is a little less than dealer cost on the Iamlents, and it's half the full retail price of them...

It's just a better deal and a much safer bet

Does your sample have the cool white emitters?

I honestly didn't ask but to me it looks to be cool white///

You can tell from the video. The Q8 has NW and the sample has CW.

Hey terry, do you know which type of shipping Haikelite will be using?? To United States…

I don’t intend to mod my q8 which i have no skills or equipment. It is good as what it is now. I think q8 is the best value light… I use it daily around the house… the light doesn’t step down if I keep it at med mode…

Many cheap lights failed because of the low quality driver. Q8 came in clean every aspect.

It would be great to see some still shots with fixed camera settings somewhere with better stuff to see than the lake. (or less fog to reflect the CW)
In the video I think its because of the fog and the cool white and the self adjusting camera, but to me the Q8 looked more impressive in the video. Obviously that is not true its just hard to see in the video.

By the reviews DT70 gets around 91 to 97kcd. Similar throw to MT09R

As of right now no.. I do know that it has been and is still being discussed. When I am given a definite answer I will post that right away.

Thanks, I never actually got to compete a review on the multi emitter Imalents. I have hoped that someone had taken real measurement. I felt pretty sure just from the information provided from reports of what lumen output turned out to really be that the advertised candela had to be lower as well.

So that supports the value of the MT09R...

Once you have one and you kick it up into turbo for the first time you will know that is one of the best if not the best purchase you made in a light

You get a premium quality and performance light at a price much better than lights that do not perform nearly as well..

.

That will happen tomorrow night. I have already contacted the local Police dept. and Sheriffs office so that I do not get arrested lol... Also I have a new camera arriving tomorrow that will shoot much better quality video.

The camera I am using is decent HD for some things but I need more control...lol basically a camera I really did not want to spend the money on but I hope it pays off.

It should be here by USPS tomorrow that will give me time to get it set up and ready for this kind of video as well as stills.

Thanks, folks for the (more or less, lol) concrete information! So it looks like, all other things being equal such as batteries, conditions, etc. these are similar lights in output.
Looks like Haikelite has the nod in reliability and user interface, I really like the smaller form factor of the dt70.
I have looked in depth at other lights like the MF01, the Acebeam x80, Acebeam x45, even the Imalent DX80.
I guess I am kinda intrigued by the “tiny light, HUGE OUTPUT” aspect. I own an Emisar D4, and love shocking folks with it in its 18350 form factor (about 4k lumens out of a 2 inch light

It seems like new contenders pop up every month…right after I’ve decided on a purchase, lol.

OK, so who else thought looking at the thumbnail of the video that there was a huge white mug filled with black coffee? Me!

the DT70 can be purchased for $149, just saying.

Great video, Terry, very thorough and helpful. Thanks for all the work you are putting into this group buy. Looking forward to getting my hands on one of these.

Yes it can but that is dealer cost... For a retailer to give up profit and take a loss on shipping tella people that no one will buy it otherwise.

Think about it for a minute if customers were paying retail price do you think they would drop it to dealer cost. If customers were buying them at a 20 percent mark up they would not drop it that low. They would sell them at the profitable prices.

Please do not ever believe that a retailer is selling anything at a price all the way down to their cost because they like us or want to give us a great deal. They do that because if they can get back what they paid for them they can biy more of another product that is profitable.

Selling any brand at dealer cost will ruin the market for the retailer and the brand. If they aree priced that low it is hoping they can unload them.

You're welcome I think it's loads of fun lol

The video looks good. I like the light… I dont care about throw, more interested in the big flood. Looking forward to your next video with the camera upgrade…

Thanks!

When do they start shipping the light?

Let me know so I can make payment
