I´ve changed my shipping from registered to DHL. Where are tracking infos (Trackingnumbers) listed?
It would be nice for me, to have trackingnumber before delivery, so I could contact customs.

in my case I got a sms from DHL (Hong Kong?) to pay 50 euro. I wonder what happened with the google doc I filled in with 22 dollar inclusive shipping. That’s not on the package I guess. I think there’s 25 dollar on the package, and DHL takes an extra amount for shipping.

Tax and DHL charge for Their service???
In Germany we have to pay DHL charge for their service (min. 12,50€) and on top 19% vat (value of goods + shipping).
So maybe aprox. (100€ ($111) + 12,50€) * 0,19 = 21,50€.
If shipping is not declared separate, DHL charges min. about 35€ shipping on top for shipping China to Germany.
So maybe aprox. (135€ + 12,5€) * 0,19 = 28,00€.

Some German members paid 38 euro, I saw an invoice somewhere in this thread. But how they account 50 euro? €14,50 admin costs DHL, €3 vat over admin costs, €32 vat over GT and shipping.
Maybe they ordered batteries, too.

Maybe Admin costs for DHL express are more expensive, about 28€.
so 50€ might be ok for flashlight with batteries and all charges an VAT.

Sounds positive if some Aus lights are getting delivered. My order was DHL with batteries, paid on 2nd December. Crossing my fingers!

I paid quite late. around the 28th of December, no batteries, DHL x 2. So I guess there is a possibility I’ll be waiting till the next shipment…… really hope not tho.
I paid also on the 1st of December with batteries still nothing received….
I only got my PM to pay on the 2nd December. I paid about an hour after the PM and thought I’d be front of the list. Didnt know more had gone out prior. I feel less special now.

It was actually delivered by TNT as well.
And when I say delivered, I mean they left a slip in my mailbox saying they “tried to deliver it” yet I was home all day within a few meters of the front door….so I had to go collect from a depot :rage:
So how many people on the 555 list have the flashlight been delivered?
That’s something what I want to know. Because For me It’s already 7 weeks ago I am now in week 8 that’s 2 months :weary:
Like I said before, there is no 555 list as far as shipping is concerned. All 850 orders are mixed together. Since we don’t have statistics, I will guess that “most” of the early payers have their lights. Anyone that ordered with registered shipping was not part of the first 3 shipments. So obviously they don’t have their light yet.
There were around 170 people on Neal’s #1 to #555 paid shipping list that ordered with registered mail (according to another member, I didn’t actually count them), but some of them switched to DHL so the real number is unknown.
So right now it looks like those with registered shipping and those that paid “later” are still waiting. Plus there are still a couple early payers who chose DHL and still don’t have their lights. So it’s got a random quality about it as well. :disappointed: :person_facepalming: :confounded:
Ps, for some folks it might be 12 to 13 weeks.
