try double half press, that sounds like the same UI as the S2+, after its on for a few seconds it does that, when you first turn it on you can single half press to switch modes.
The switch is called forward clickie because it reacts to half presses only when off. This is the expected behaviour. The L2 is a very nice light, particularly as a modding host for a handy thrower.
Don’t get me wrong, genuine Convoy lights usually are of good quality, I bought (and modded) a lot of them but it makes no sense to compare non existing lights.
Hello guys, do you know if Bang Good is usually accurate about restocking? i'm so enthusiast to order the BLF Q8 but they are currently out of stock in the Cn warehouse.
Depends… if the lens is cracked all the way water might get inside. No other adverse effects. Contact BG for replacement. When you open order details there’s orange button with “Repair & Refund & Resending” caption - follow the instructions and attach picture of cracked lens. They should send you new lens and if that will be impossible to acquire alone - whole flashlight.
The BLF Q8 is back in stock in cn warehouse @Banggood.com
With the coupon code : M4DQ8 the price drop to 46.50$ (-33.45$)
I just order 2 of them one for a gift and one for myself and i'm very enthousiastic about it.
And as said before in this thread the coupon code: ODLIGHT for 4PCS Samsung INR18650-30Q button top is still working, the price drop from 20.88$ to 16.70$ (-4.18$)
So Actually you can get the BLF Q8 (46.50$) + 4PCS Samsung INR18650-30Q (16.70$) for a total of 63.2$ ! Really a bargain for this nice combo!
Several Convoy L2 models are on stock now, but apparently the code has a limited total number of uses. Testing it out says “This coupon can only be used 100 times.” so it seems the “100” total number of times the code can be used has been reached — most likely refers to all Banggood buyers who used this code.
Cool. i was waiting as it said it would restock Feb 1st but earlier the better. i tried grabbing the cells too but BG wont even allow it. wont ship to canada. too bad. at least i have some protected panni’s lying around. better check the voltage on them….
There’s a few US-based companies that will ship batteries to Canada, but you might be looking at $50+ (US) for 4 18650s by the time you account for shipping. Liionwholesale and IMR Batteries both ship to Canada, and Illumn might as well. But UPS shipping is going to cost an arm and a leg.
I would like to suggest a bundle package for the BLF Q8 + 4pcs button-top unprotected Samsung INR18650-30Q (or INR18650-35E, but prefer button-top 30Q) for shipping to countries that have a shipping restriction. (I was previously able to buy the BLF A6 + INR18650-30Q bundle, which seems to pass thru shipping without problem).
Up to right now, nearly 4 months (around 2 months waiting time for battery shipping from AliExpress) from trying to order button-top unprotected 18650s, I couldn’t get hold (my previous 2 orders of button-top unprotected 18650s) got cancelled due to shipping restrictions to my country (Banggood and GearBest don’t ship bare batteries to my country). It really gets frustating to order, then wait 2 months, then find out it’s not allowed…
My only button-tops are protected NCR18650B. I have tried using flat-top INR18650-35E (uneven drain, only 2 batteries have contact, the other one intermittent contact, the last one does not contact) and INR18650-30Q (seems to drain evenly, but I haven’t tested that long enough).
