Nice tip pscal thanks for sharing!
It actually has rubber pads on it already.
Not sure if my name on the list but i already paid for my GT Nov last year…still waiting patiently.
Hi folks. I saw some centering ring concerns and thought I’d share the solution I found. I filed down a centering ring that came with a Convoy S2+ smooth reflector and fit it inside of the black circle. A slightly more detailed account is in the GT Modding Thread.
Nice tip for the ones with the larger hole. :+1:
Great pictures chris, and one nice detail ! If you zoom in and look the roof of that house, with GT you can clearly see a green moos on the edges, with Niwalker can’t see a thing :sunglasses:
I was looking for ages trying to find the moose, lol,
Then I realised you meant moss. :person_facepalming:

Your on the list at #965 and #966. It wasn’t Nov that you paid, it was some time after Dec 9th.
Did you sign up for registered mail? It seems those are the last ones to be shipped out.

That’s a good one….
I sent email to Neal asking him if my flashlight was sent to me (no. 116 on the list).
If he will not reply in few days (most likely) I will probably open paypal dispute. I just want information if flashligh was sent or not.
If he can’t provide this info, paypal dispute will be open. I paid on 2.12.17, today we are 23.1. and still no info if and when GT will arrive. The problem is also that many which are on the list much later 600, 700, 800+ already got FL.
My patient is running out - 150+ $ (cells included) is not small amount for me.
As was said, you are welcome to request a refund, it may take a few days but until the light is shipped they will be happy to send a refund. There are plenty of people that would love the chance.
teacher: gregor:Thank you for info.
Will wait for few more days and then decide…My pleasure.
Pls can you inform me when I decide to ask for refund how to get this done?
If you decide you want a refund, Send Neal and myself a PM requesting this. It might take a few days but as long as the light has not shipped a refund is not a problem.
The main problem is lack of information.
I only need info when FL will be sent.
I guess this is not important for lumnitop, Neal
This issue here is that getting the shipping information is not very simple. You contact Neal, who generally only gets lists of shipped lights after they have been delivered the last few weeks. So he then has to contact Lumintop who then has to try and figure out what order yours is and if it has shipped or not.
It is no small process and something that no one wants to do unless there is a good reason.
The lights are shipping, there are still around 250 lights left to ship, Most of them registered mail. Give it a few weeks and then we will start cleaning up any loose ends that may have fallen through the cracks. At this point we would just be chasing our tails.
If you ordered registered mail, then know that none of the registered mail orders have shipped yet, they should start shipping with the next batch.
After receiving PM from TA, I feel little more confident that things will sort out for my order…
Thanks TA
Glad I could help, might take a few days to sort it out but we will figure it out.
my attempt to help for size comparison. He’s 3 weeks
LOL, love the pic
Since I couldn’t convince anyone else to do it, I ordered the filmcity lens handle. Here it is suspended from the balance point on my pegboard.
Very nice, that handle seems to work great. I knew something like this had to exist out there somewhere!
Now watch it sell out by tomorrow….
As to the question of how many beams were in that shot at the lake, 3 on my side and one across the lake. Yes, 4 GT’s total.
A second threaded screw would stop the rotation of the camera handle, or just a pin in a hole in the GT and hidden under the handle, not going all the way through. That would be clean and neat, perhaps not quite as easy.

Congrats on your babies!
Imagine the type of LEDs, flashlight and battery technology we will have when he is old enough to post here…
I received my first GT a couple of days ago.
I was number 947 for my first buy that was in the second group.
When can I pay for my second GT as I am number 1443 on the list which will be dearer than the first one that I bought from the second group?
Where is that list showing when we put in our interest for the GT?
Edit.
I found it in post #5 in this thread.

Ahhh. I see the link now. Yep. Spam.
But you have to give him credit. He went to more work than the Kitchen Cabinet guy.
Okay, so I’m just going to throw this out there. The lowest cloud banks are a 6500ft, which is 1.2 miles or below. I’m just saying…
