Non Flashlight orders/received

Glenn, didnā€™t you recently buy a Sony a6000? Have you seen this review on it? Field Test: Surfing with Chris Burkard and the Sony a6000 - YouTube

Hi Robert, Yes I did. Iā€™ll check out the video now

One of the best camera reviews Iā€™ve seen. Iā€™m seriously thinking about that camera

The pictures heā€™s getting are spectacular with that super expensive lens. Iā€™m using the kit lens. Itā€™s fine for my amateur needs.

Yeah, they do get some shots with those expensive lens, but they got some nice shots with the less expensive lens too! Regardless of the lens, really shows what that camera is capable of.

Have I gone?

And left you here alone?
If I would, could you?

:sunglasses:

This thread is in the Miscellaneous Non-flashlight related items ā€œOff-topic Chatterā€ category.
It fits perfect here.

Funny, but I do not see any warning from you before you crapped in this members thread. And ā€œtotally uselessā€ doesnā€™t count.

I love the camera. The only thing I donā€™t like is itā€™s short battery life. It drains even when youā€™re not using it. I bought a couple of spares and a really cool Nitecore charger with a display that charges 2 batteries at the same time.

Ordered a small Canon camera bag from B&H for my friend. Itā€™ll be funny since heā€™s a Sony shooter
Price was right so Iā€™m sure heā€™ll be pleased!

Maybe if itā€™s still in warranty you can return it, and get some useful thread instead?

What I donā€™t like about iPhone, and Apple in general, being limited/locked with their software products and services, their charging connectors, file transfer limitationsā€¦

The hype, and the crazy pricing, I could maybe swallow, but above I cannot. Canā€™t stand their or any other business model imposing daft technical solutions

Over Christmas got my boys (and me because why should they have all the fun) into rockets.

Just my luck as we get into a new hobby I see Hobbico has landed in to some difficulties so Iā€™m wondering if Estes rockets will be no more ?

James, I got 2 of those Xiaomi Mijia IR Sensor and Photosensitive Night Lights a couple of weeks ago. Theyā€™re not very bright but one of them is in use in a staircase. Works great for what Iā€™m using it for.

I got the Original Xiaomi Power Bank 20,000mAh 2C a couple of days ago. I charged it up but I havenā€™t used it yet.

I love those xiaomi lights the warmth of the led is perfect for smooth night light, i actually have 4, i put one in my bedroom and 2 in the communicating bathroom, i can go do my business at night with just the right amount of automatically triggered light

Good idea. I think Iā€™ll put one in my bathroom as well.

10 panel mount 5.5mm x 2.5mm power connectors arrived a few minutes ago for the 8 port power supply Iā€™m putting together.

Cool! I used to post all that non-flashlight related stuff in that other ā€œWhat you got todayā€ thread, but it was probably not that threadā€™s intention.

I got some resistorsā€¦

Nice. I have some as well.

This just showed up. I got a pair of Himalayan Natural Air Purifier Salt Rock Lamps. Each one is handmade and unique. They use a 25 watt incandescent bulb and comes with a line cord dimmer. I bought them for the looks, not the so called air purifying qualities.
