Haikelite SC26 *** CLOSED For U.S.A. and Canadian Customers only*** Haikelite cut me off at 100 units so GB is closed.

Is the “Dimension: 3.3 inch length” with 26650 tube or the 26350 tube?

Thanks very much...

As soon as I get the prototype I can measure it exactly for you...

Ordered in green for my wife…

LOL My wife wants one as well...

…and I am sure she will get one!

I am interested in this light for my girlfriend but have to wait a bit since she controls my money…

Also interested to see which 26650 cells will fit?

The design is so appealing, it’s a beauty!
The white (looks silver to me) could’ve been plucked out of Taylor’s backpack in the original Planet of the Apes. Ordered a yellow but considering a white to keep the other cell in. Ugh.

The price will go up some after this pre-sale but they will still be very affordable... I have already decided that I want to give several of these out as Christmas gifts. My only problem is muggles.

The ramping U.I. is super simple to use but having to explain lithium Ion cells and why they must use a bit more caution and attention is where it becomes the hardest.

Totally safe but must be respected.

Just placed an order for a Blue one in NW. Thanks for feeding the addiction.

Any plans for offering SC26 type body with different emitter(s)?
I’m thinking the current pocket rocket kings have some major shortcomings, shortcoimings that an SC26 like host could overcome.
Specifically, the D4 suffers from very short high ouput runtimes and poor heat management.
Tiny 26650 3th is less bright than D4 and suffers from quality control issues.
Neither of them have much throw.
The slighly larger SC26 body style (with significanly larger capacity battery) could surpass both these lights, and offer a smaller 26350 ff when even smaller matters.

I do like the SC26 form factor, AND I want a small pocketable light that can do 3000 lumen (for more than a few seconds), and I want a reflector. I suspect this could be a popular combo- look how popular the D4 is.

The other lights I’ve seen similar to my desired specs are at least 2 of the following 3:
substantially larger;
substantially more expensive;
offer only CW tint.

And none offer a stubby 26350 option.

Let me rephrase:
small as possible with modest reflector.
2500+ lumen
Good runtimes (26650)
able to become smaller, of course sacrificing much runtime and/or brightness (26350)
CW, NW, WW options.

So, I nominate Haikelite. Perhaps they could just adapt an XHP50.2 or XHP70.2 into SC26?

Please?

If we are making a wish list… the sc02 driver and mtg2 would make a really cool light in this size.

>> but having to explain lithium Ion cells and why they must use a bit more caution and attention is where it becomes the hardest.

I typically try to actually provide or at least provide links to adequate chargers/batteries, and give a speech, something to the extent, “only charge on relatively fireproof surfaces with no readily flammable objects nearby, including above.” I like to throw in the hand grenade analogy too. That usually puts the fear of [higher power(s)] in them.

Is this SC26 smaller than SC01?

I’m just trying to understand why someone would want SC26 over SC01 that puts out 2,000 lumen, other than the ramping UI which SC01 does not have.

>> If we are making a wish list…

Uh oh. Isn’t this the make a wish list! Sorry to create a monster, my bad.

Well, to get any of the emitters to work that you listed it would need a boost driver. I think if they put a boost driver in it, it would make an awesome MTG2 light lol

I take a Navy Blue

I like that one as well... Thanks very much...

+1

Now we’re talking Pulsar.

The SC26 is a touch over 3 inches and under 100 grams.

Payed!
