FW3A, a TLF/BLF EDC flashlight - SST-20 available, coupon codes public

Is he OK? I certainly hope so.

Last I knew, about a week or so ago someone posted he was posting to facebook and looks to be doing good

We should copy the German forum where they have a thread for interest and a thread for discussion. Much much better imho.

FW3A in TLF thread for interest
Lumintop FW3A - TLF Sonderedition: hier nur Bestellthread [Beendet] | Taschenlampen Forum

FW3A TLF thread for discussion.

It is a brilliant idea, though
Just as a style exercise
As mental training
.
But, do not implement it
It would be a filter

Many would be left out
Although they propose a template

Many non-English language

Google translator and other translators
.

Copy - translate - complete translate - paste
Some answers for a book of anecdotes jokes

This is not exact what I wrote
Google translates as translate
I can not express exactly my idea

Put me down for 1 please.

OohNai: You are number1026 on this post,

I’ve been meaning to do that, actually. A thread for discussion, a thread for announcements, and some sort of automated way to sign up. Perhaps also something for FAQs and support. The idea is to take it a bit farther though, adding features which aren’t available on BLF, augmented by another site. Hopefully it can use OpenID or similar, to auth users directly from BLF.

For now, I’ll stick to only the easiest bits and the most pressing needs… like not having people burn out on interest-tracking duty. And, if it’s relevant, I could add more later.

That is, assuming I have time. Not sure that’ll be the case.

I’m interested in one of these.

I am constantly amazed by your skills. You would be the greatest neighbor ever!

bmengineer , You are number 1027 on this post,

That would be helpful, or some option to set it to “top of the regulated range”

That would be very helpful.

I think the name-collecting bot would work if it was combined with an auto responder that posts a message saying: “user_x, thank you for your interest. Your name has been added to the list under the number 1234”. If anybody uses an incorrect format that isn’t recognised, others will be able to point that user towards the first post describing the correct procedure.

If a filter is added that excludes the correct phrases if they are contained between quotation marks or apostrophes, it will also be possible for another member to reply using that phrase, without that member being added as well:

Definitely sounds like an interesting project.

This is definitely an interesting bot and seems like it would be super helpful. I think that giving numbers to people when they post interest gives a false sense of priority that often comes back to cause problems when the buy starts to happen. There are always people who get … upset (shall we say) that they were number 25 on the interest list but didn’t get their toy until late in the game. Never mind that they disappeared from the boards and missed the buy signal, or they live on an a deserted island that gets deliveries by carrier pigeon only in months without an R. IMO The only reason to have numbers on the list is to make it easier to find yourself in the list, and provide a running count of theoretical buys. If the Bot can perform both of these functions without enumerating the list, I think it would be an improvement.

So… Canada?

put me down for one please

Please put me down for one.

Lol you made me spill my coffee from laughing

Please add me to the list for one light.

I thought I was already on this list but it appears I’m not.

Please sign me up for two!
