so why make a Groupbuy for a light that only exist as a concept and will take over half a year to be finished?

Yeah I agree.
I’m on the FW3A list, and the other Astrolux list.
I like this active cooling concept but can’t really say interested until specs are out.
I’m interested in the idea only at this stage. But if they are definitely making the product, an interest list right now is almost null.

I seriously doubt it will be a fragile heatsink hanging out the back where it’s easily damaged. At least I hope it’s not.

If your gonna build it, it needs to be durable. Think of the FB1, X9 Marauder or MS 2010. Like an actual, usable light.
