Olight i1 XM-L, Olight i1 SS XM-L (with itp A1 head ), iTP A1 SS (with Olight i1 head), Olight i2, Olight i3, iTP A3, iTP A3 titanium
From the above, I think only Olight i3 is still available
Astrolux A01 / Manker Boney — Essentially the same, the A01 had quite a few with NMM, but mine doesn’t (gray). The Boney is I think 1-mode only, which I’d probably prefer.
Odepro EA01 — Really nice simple elegant light. Got one to review, ruined it with a f’n alkaleak. Discontinued… just my luck. Contacted the nice folx at Odepro (hi Jenna!), scored me another one for <10bux.
Lumintop AAA Nichia — Beautiful light, sturdy, well-built, but annoying UI that insists on always starting on M, and no memory. Sorry, but I’d rather have a 1-mode donk that was permanently stuck on medium, than a light with modes that always comes on on medium vs having memory or starting on low so you don’t blind yourself at night
Zanflare F3 — Just got one today, impressed! Typische Zanflare elegance (eg, “spline” knurling like the F1), good mode spacing with a new AAA (didn’t try yet with an eneloop), firm switch that oozes “decisiveness”, ie, ain’t mooshy at all. A bit too cool-white for my taste, but still a nice light.
Already mentioned the Glaree, also a nice simple light, thinwall tubing making it really lightweight, probably would be a great zipper-pull on a jacket. Nowhere nearly as “hefty” as the Zanflare or Lumintop. (Neither is good nor bad, just depends on what you want/need/expect of the light in question.)
Gotta mention the Jetbeam µ, ’though I ain’t got one. Lotta people like it.
Wow… and I usually crap on AAA lights as “better’n nothing… but not by much”.
So…has anyone tried that RovyVon A2 already?
I see it’s available on e-bay with international shipping for as little as $80.
BTW, there’s also a plastic variant, cheaper. And actually better for me because of lower weight, though I do wonder how it handles the heat. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CP6CFX9
Shipping costs totally kill this deal if we’re not in the US
I would or will contact the manufacturer to see if they have these for sale in Europe, or at least if they have a cheap way to ship it to European buyers ! If I get an answer, I will post it here :+1:
Just sent an e-mail as well Did you get any answer yet?
Hum, that Ti version is sweet, but I would be more inclined to the black version (maybe aluminum)!
Apart from being expensive, having a very huge shipping fee and eventually a short capacity battery, these little lights have an awesome look!
Let’s see if they answer our mails! :+1:
And thanks for showing their site, I hadn’t seen it before !
