Dino Direct is reshipping my order

I placed a DD order on Dec. 29, 2011 for under $50 so no tracking number.

So tonight I did the live chat and gave them the order number, the asked me if this was my address and then asked if they wanted the order reshipped. So I told them OK and they said I would get a email when the order is shipped.

Has anyone ever had this happend to them???????????

Well there is a thread about their excellent service. When you go into your order information does it show they ever shipped anything, and did you get a picture sent to your email?

If it were me, I'd file a paypal dispute if it's going to arrive >45 days after order placement. Otherwise you have no recourse if it is a no-show.

They did send a email that the orginal order shipped, no picture.

CS was were nice to me. They type very fast and I type very slow but it only took a few minutes to get a new order set up.

But it was a different vendor .

After repeated emails , I finally got my three Sanremu 763s after six months .

I also have an order from them on 12/27/12 but has yet to receive the items. Lucky you, been contacting them but they wanted me to wait longer and the latest to wait until March 3.

If they want you to wait from Dec-27 to Mar-03 that's 67 days and just stringing you along!

i have tried to contact DD about a defective TANK 007 E09 i bought in a order i bought 5 of them

i have not received any reply from them this is not the first time i have had problems with this dealer

though it might be the last

Trust me folks, the support from DD and other places like CNQG is there. It could take a heck of a long time for a messed order or out of stock order, but ultimately there would be a solution. Don't need to PP dispute because i am very sure even after 2-3 months they can do a PP refund (before that, i have no comments because there are always 2 sides to the story regarding customers). No need to get too worked up is the name of the game, order from various other vendors to keep yourself and the hobby happy.

Heck I am still waiting for a driver since November 2011, but that is a replacement driver.... Now there is no replacement driver - that's the official word, so i chose another driver which is close. ie No need to get too worked up.

If you need something fast, get from USA. Some more vendors like HKE is very fast + they do give support as well. If your wallet can take it, i mean...why not?

Why do you guy's use paypal? Why not pay with Visa? You do not have a 45 day limit or the worry of paypal taking there side and telling you to 'jog on'.

I hear so many paypal horror stories, and have experienced some myself. I rarely use them.

Great question! As I understand it, (from reading about many internet scams) CC numbers have a chance of walking and appearing on other charges not originating from you... PayPal offers more protection, as no CC number ever gets exchanged. Plus most sites are set up to pay quickly and efficiently with PP.

You have to file a dispute within 45 days of the transaction. That is what the paypal site says.

After filing the dispute you only have twenty days to escalate it into a claim.

If you miss any of these deadlines Paypal will not do anything to get your money back.

But if you use a visa to set up your paypal you can still tell visa not to paythem and suddenly visa isn't payig paypal and paypal will wake up and lean on the vendor and the vendor suddenly jumps to attention and takes care of the problem ...solved

Absolutely! That's the way my paypal is set up. But they keep asking me to link my bank account to it. Not a chance! They must be getting loads of Charge backs.

I recieved a email from Summer and was told my order had been shipped. From my first contact with CS live chat to when Summer emailed me that the order had shipped was under 8 hours. You can say what you want but they solved my problem very fast and I will order from them again. My orders are small around $50 and I can understand when someone has large order that they do get angry when it starts getting over 3-4 week to arrive.

I think most of the problem may lie with the postal system. If the mailing lable gets dirty/torn or anything else to it you will never get the package. I does no good for DD not to ship a order I think they want to make money and keep people happy but once your order is turned over to the postal system they have no control and only get to hear about any problems.

So we might have to start going after the postal system.............................
