[♛ FreemeGB] ASTROLUX MF06 CREE High Power Flashlight with Active Cooling - Not Quite there Yet

Interested

Interested.

I really like the concept of the X70, but it (and this) will probably be too expensive, and wouldn’t a fan cause some highly excessive battery drain? The MF03 sounds good enough for me, I hope that one comes to life.

Interested!

No. It should be insignificant.

I’m really into the concept of the MF03, since it isn’t active cooling I’m assuming speculating this will have more emitters or more power.
But again MF03 looks good enough, for me anyhow.

You shouldn’t assume anything about the MF05 because we have no idea what kind of light it’s going to be.

It could be a medium sized light designed to do a constant 10k to 12k lumen. Or maybe a giant light like the MF03 that can do higher outputs, but not continuously. We don’t know, yet.

Maybe “assuming” was the wrong term to use so I changed it.

I wasn’t referring to the physical size, only that I assume speculate it will be multi-emitter and probably more emitters/more power than the MF03 (which I think is the general consensus?) And reinforcing that theory is the fact that Astrolux didn’t think the MF03 needed active cooling.

I guess OTOH it could actually be only a single emitter, but I highly doubt it.

Interested/Price.

I am mainly interested because I very much like the idea that a Chinese manufacturer might be trying out the concept of a light wiht active cooling.

I’ll wait and see what idea(s) come(s) out of it.

As long as they do not glue everything together with red locktite………….

Completely agree.

Very curious what they will come up with.

Interested

As long as the threads do not glued
My MF01 came with the threads glued
I will not buy another Astrolux with the threads glued

Way interested! Especially if it rocks a tripod mount.

Interested!

Interested, depending on whether the pocket clip is for head-up or head-down carry. :stuck_out_tongue:
