Here are my updated lumen estimate:

I just received my Olight H2R Nova XHP50 NW. I measured 308 lux. The H2R Nova NW was measured at 2,360 lumens by Maukka in his review on CPF

TLF also measured two different units of the H2R Nova NW at 2,380 and 2,420 lumens

I will assume 308 lux equals 2,360 lumens, which I think should be quite accurate because I measured 315 lux for the Acebeam H15 XHP70.2 CW which is advertised at 2,500 lumens. I can’t find any reviews measuring the lumens of the H15 to compare.
Here are the calculated lumens using this assumption:

MT09R 5000k measures 2,170 lux equates to 16,627 lumens
MT09R 4000k 80CRI measures 1,640 lux equates to 12,566 lumens

If you ask me which one I like better, I much prefer the 4000k because I personally prefer a very slight warmth in the neutral. I’m so glad I bought this light as high lumen 4000k flashlights are not available anywhere else.

Considering meters tend to underrate warm light I think that’s a pretty great result. I’m glad I went for the warm white!

It’s not a meter, I just download Light Meter android app on my Note 8. I think there’s a better ceiling bounce app that the forum guys use but I haven’t gotten around to installing that one. Light Meter works for my purpose as all I’m doing is comparing relative brightness and it has been very consistent through every use.

I am not sure if I had mentioned it yet or not but, there is an extended tube that should be available soon after the holiday.

This is an extended battery tube for the MT09R that doubles the cells from 4 to 8 which also doubles that run time.

It will be well after the Holiday before the extension tube is available... We are not doing a group buy on them.

Hopefully as far as retail the extension tubes and the charging units I should have them in stock the first or second week of March.

I am still waiting on my own shipment of the MTO9R 35 high which I have now found that somehow they were not shipped along with the last shipment I got a few days ago. I have actually contacted DHL both here in the U.S. and in China and it was just left out of the last shipment.

With some luck the shipping company in charge of setting everything up will return to work on 1-22-18 and I can have those shipped ASAP.

I will give you more updates on the extension tube as I get more information but, most of that will be after the Holiday.

hm where do u live ? i think they dropship from china to netherlands and then from there it goes to wherever your destination is… but sucks if it hasnt actually departed because if chinese holidays nothing might happen until its over there next week or so then :frowning:
