Interested. Any more info on this one than just the video on the first page? How does the reflector size compare to the BLF GT?

I hope Astrolux does not start on all lights to work with red locktite
if so this is a killer criterium to buy new ones, that huge bezel is almost impossible to get open with red locktite on it without heating the whole head to over 200°C

I got here some MF01 already modded for other people

The last 3 lights I got are secured with red locktite on Bezel and one driver screw
they even took a longer screw than the other 2 to make it almost impossible to get it out if not using my autogen gas welder to heat the screw up locally and have the whole head 120°C heated up with a larger flame

Same for me!
.
I would want this light primarily as a host so if its glued together with red locktite……NO.

Chees Cheerio!

If it comes with the glued threads I do not want it
My MF01 came with the threads glued
I had to open it with a pair of engine oil filter wrenches and I destroyed the heads of the screws that hold the driver
I will not buy another Astrolux with glued threads
I did not buy the MF02 because the one that received Lexel had the threads glued

Sorry

I can request for unsealed version for initial batch like MF01.

Seems like in general no one wants a light that is sealed with glue or threadlock. Can we get the MF04 to be built completely without glue or threadlock? Maybe pass along a message to the manufacturer stating so?

I’m interested!

Interested, thanks.

Yes, it can be done.

Interesting for an unglued light…

I’m interested

Why just first batch? Please request for Banggood/Astrolux to stop using glue on all of their flashlights. The majority of their customers are flashlight hobbyists and many would like to be able to mod their flashlights.

Please put me down on the interest list.
