FW3A, a TLF/BLF EDC flashlight - SST-20 available, coupon codes public

That looks great Toykeeper.

When can I get my FW3A? :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

TK, the FW3A can be done that way relatively safely as the clip is clamped on by the tail cap, but one of the snap on style clips would be much more prone to lose the light in that carry style. (Goddesses have better fortune than some of us mere mortals so you probably wouldn’t have to worry about it either way)

Been out of the forum a lot myself recently, coming back in and seeing the sleeker design cues it looks pretty good. Not sure why I took the stance I took earlier, grouchy in my old age I guess… my apologies to all concerned.

If I’m wearing pants with a pocket down the side of the leg I’ll have the light in / pocket clip out. Otherwise hip pockets are uncomfortable for any sort of bending, squatting, sitting (car included). I don’t wear jackets much but don’t use the clip on the rare occasion I have a light in a jacket. So I usually hang the light outside the pocket or on the belt.

Hi, thanks for helping put this together. I'd be interested in one please!

Has been a while. So far it looks like BCD or just C, depending on where the threshold is placed. The current firmware implements BCD, so it looks like probably no change.

Blink option running vote tally…

As a reminder, the options are: (where in the ramp to blink)

  • A. Floor
  • B. ~150 lm, level 65/150
  • C. ~1000 lm, level 130/150 (highest regulated level)
  • D. Ceiling

Results: (34 votes)

  • A: 47.1%
  • B: 57.4%
  • C: 73.5%
  • D: 61.8%

Votes:

Can I be added to list for 3.
Thank you

TK - I’m not sure what the difference (in lumens) is between C and D but one of those would be my preference

I can’t find my name on the list today

The floor and ceiling are configurable. By default, C and D are the same… but the user can configure the ceiling to be higher or lower than default.

Similarly, one could also set the floor level A to be above level B… but I doubt anyone would want to.

You should be #355 and #770.

Soon they should combine the 2 interest lists and put it in post #1.
