Honestly, your results will largely depend on your belief system, this is something enlightened people knows.

Done lots of small orders from FastTech and a few from Kaidomain. Despite what people says here Kaidomain's service has always been excellent to me. A few quirks with FastTech, but overall everything nice.

FastTech seems to be The Vaper's Paradise. Kaidomain is very focused in flashlight related stuff, with unique and interesting products which may end up costing less than expected due to shipping policies.

Found some interesting rare battery offers recently at Kaidomain, I'll have to order some.

Got my Kaidomain order in today. It took exactly 3 weeks. I ordered it on 2/1/18 and I received it on 2/22/18. The flashlight is a Kdiy KF8, the light was in a small cardboard box the size of toothpaste tube box, all inside a bubble wrap yellow mailing envelope. The light box was smushed a tad. The light was in perfect condition. There was a free lenses wipe included from Kaidomain.
Great service from Kaidomain all around, for any who care.

I believe so. On other sites I pretty sure it says they(China) get back to Monday(2/26/18).

my first ever order on fasttech for SR 9104 with that st patricks discount, 3 days later they cancel my order saying its “discontinued”? this seems like bs to me as its available on many other sites, kinda think they didnt want to honor the low price I paid. So they get all my info and I get squat, not too happy about that.

I did get a refund, but still at a loss as to what happened

I have made several orders from booth FT and KD, so far I found good experience on them.

A) Stock is not always on hand - So needs to be ordered , this can take time !
B) Not had a problem with either , KD has lots of nick nacks for flashlight DIY

I’ve rarely had any problems with FT. If anything, it was the opposite, that I’d wait for something to get back in stock, even if the “expected ship-date” would be pushed back 3-4 times.

Remember that places like FT don’t keep their own stock, but have other suppliers hold the merch. That’s why something could show “in stock” when you order it (ie, at FT), then take 2wks to actually have it shipped, because the supplier has to replenish stock. Or the opposite, it’s shown in stock but then their supplier tells ’em, “Nope, no more”. So they cancel the order and refund you your bux.

I’ve never gotten stiffed on any orders, so I wouldn’t worry about that.

Yeah, but it would have been better if they backordered it for me instead of canceling it, I dont mind waiting, instead I lose the st pats sale discount, as a first time user of the site it just didnt seem cool. Now if I want to get it, would be about $5 more on GB and horrible $17ish more on amazon. guess I will have to bide my time and keep an eye out for better deal.

I care. Thanks for the feedback. I’ve only ordered from KD once about a year ago, had no problems. The have MANY things I want now though, but a lot of the posts above don’t sound good on their shipping. I ordered from fasttech several times no problems ever.

21 days is not bad. You and I are roughly in the same general area of USA, I think, (eastern USA) but close enough. Should be about the same.

Made my first order from Kaidomain on 3/19.
Paid with PayPal.

When I check the status of the order it says “pending-packing”.

My question is for those who use Kaidomain often. Is this typical? It’s been over a week and it appears nothing has happened with the order.

I can’t answer that I haven’t ordered from them in a long time, but I suggest be proactive and message them directly to ask if it’s shipped, and for tracking if it has.

He seems to be somewhat active in that thread, (last seen 3/21) but someone else there might know about what you’re asking and reply.

Also, not sure if, or how fast he reply’s to PM’s here but you could try that too.

Still working through a bad experience with KD for a C8.2 XHP50 version.

Paid for expedited shipping so I could have it for my trip last week

Created an order on Feb 22 (tail end of Spring Festival, holiday until 26th IIRC) for a KDLitker C8.2 with a XHP50.2 5000k, said in stock, ships in 1-3 days, I paid the $18 for express shipping too.

Heard nothing up until I emailed on 3/3 asking what my order status was to which they replied, this light is out of stock in 5K, if you want we can do 3k, 4k, or 6k. Now looking at the 5k product page, IT STILL SAYS IN STOCK. Either way, I sent back 4k is fine. They say it will ship in a few days, order marked shipped on 3/5, but no tracking number. I give it a few days.

Fast forward to 3/9, I emailed again saying I never got tracking despite being marked as shipped. They say, oh, we are waiting for 4k LED to be installed and tested and it will ship next week.

It finally shipped on the 17th, and I did get it in 3 days, however it was DOA. Driver is dead. So now here I am, over a month past my initial order, waiting for a replacement drop in to be shipped via snail mail.

You should be compensated in some way for that whole ordeal.

They refunded $9 from the shipping cost.

I actually asked to cancel the order entirely 2 days before the tracking went live, but missed it.

Im trying to be patient, but why would I pay $18 to get something quickly, then when they send a broken item, I get sent a replacement part through snail mail (It still hasnt shipped and they told me they would send it Thursday.)

At this point I just want a complete refund, minus their cost of the host since I can build something in it.
