Switch looks like electronic? I dont mind self-discharge lights with 2-4 18650 but wouldnt like to empty AA fast.
I have it. The switch is a mechanical switch, not electronic. The timing for switching modes is very small. You have to tap and release the tail switch very quickly to switch to high mode. Low mode has PWM, ugh. For modding, I have no idea how to get to the LED. Maybe Eagle Eye thread locked the bezel or something, which is strange because their flashlights are usually easy to mod. One of my recent flashlight purchase regrets.
Not appealing to me… Seems bulky, only 2 modes, not safe for li-ion batteries…
Large for what it is, (Product size (L x W x H): 9.30 x 2.00 x 2.00 cm ) and at the price I think a UTorch UT-01 beats it in every department unless you specifically want a tail switch.
