You can use points for discount if you have at least 50 points.
The discount (from the Points) cannot exceed 30% of the item sub-total cost. (Note: Selected promos may have a different cap.)
Coupons cannot be used together with Points to reduce prices.
Taking cash from “My GB Wallet” costs Double Points value. For example: $10 will cost 20 Points.
The points still can use on sale products.

I can confirm, products on sale (discounted price) no longer seem to accept points. This is a significant change in your sales model and the prices for us will be 30% higher than if we had points to use.
When did this change happen? Is this for all products across the board?
This is also across the board, all categories I checked. fpv items, R/C, flashlights, parts, tools, etc- this is the reason why I almost never buy from banggood. Reduced prices don’t accept points any longer… this is terrible.
That is the most reason why I ordered stuff from gearbest. Being able to use points on flash sales. Now this is gone. This is a take. And what good thing we get instead?
I am very disappointed in GearBest for this change in policy too. Previously we were at least able to use our GB points for items on flash sale, and I believe also “Email Only” items. This change in policy effectively diminishes the value of the GB points.
I totally agree with those that say they shop with you more because you allow better use of your GB points, compared to the other big online retailer like BangGood. I order at least 10 times more from you compared to with BangGood, even though you are nearly always much slower to ship your orders. For me, I am happy to be more patient when I am paying a better price. But if your prices and your use of your points are no different to other online retailers, you will find that others with similar experiences to me won’t hesitate to jump ship.
I knew it will happen when website didn’t allow points while apps still allow points on flashsales. Luckily i used up many points on flashsales, but i still have 978points now, worth about USD20. I used up about 5500 points.
To Gearbest, you have just removed your best attraction. It will be tougher for me to buy from your store now unless your price is really good. But many things on your store seems to be more expensive nowadays.
I think there is no point in f*cking around with points anymore. You can hardly reach a flash sale price or a coupon price with "normal price" reduced with points 'cause the normal price is usually very high. If you have a good flash sale price or get a coupon you can still reach a reasonable price but you need to wait and the price you will have is still far from the earlier flash sale price reduced with points. I have about 120 GB orders and 2-3 BG, 2-3 ali orders. I did buy from GB even if BG or ali had a slightly better price beacuse of GB's rewarding point system...
