*BLF LT1 Lantern Project) (updated Nov,17,2020)

Interested in three. Please add me to the list.

Right behind you buddy! Can’t believe it’s already been 2 yrs. How times fly.

Is a $2 red or yellow diffuser cone not sufficient? Just add one to your favorite light.

I am interested in 1. Please add me to the list if you would be so kind!

Interested, please add me to the list

Interested for sure

List updated. I have the prototype now taken apart and working on the upgrade modifications.

Nice to see you interested in this too. :+1:

Please add me to the interest list. Thanks.

Personally I’d love to see this one use a 2700k tint. Yeah, that’s very warm for a flashlight but IMHO it would be perfect for a lantern. I usually go for 2700k for my home lighting since it just feels nicer and more natural.

Interested, thx.

Please add me to the list, thanks!

Count me in.

Personally DBsar, I would think the best emitters would be Nichia 219Cs in the 3500-4000k CCT range.

The 219c is a very nice LED, but since it is not the most efficient emitter out there it does not fit into the lanterns idea of maximum efficiency. Swapping LED’s in the lantern should not be too difficult if you feel it is necessary.

Every time I go out for a fire, or help a buddy work on a car. Or just hanging out after dark having a drink outside I think about how nice this lantern will be.
