Haikelite MT07S Current Consumption

I measured mine with parasitic drain of 337.5uA. Moonlight mode consumes 7.85mA.
Battery voltage was 15.12 v. Assuming 3400mAh batteries, 3400/7.85/24=18days, far from spec of 45days for moonlight mode.
Didn’t measure higher output mode cause higher current will need better contact to have full performance.
Anyone has measured his MT07S and care to share here?

Retest again just now with freshly charged HG2, battery voltage 16.3v while in standby mode, current 337.5uA
Freshly charged battery has about 4.16v each, total voltage should be 16.64v, somehow standby mode pull the voltage down and stabilize to 16.3v within about 20s.

Last night the red led on button blink a few seconds and light output dropped from Turbo to low. Took the unprotected HG2 out and all measured around 3.03v. Should be still usable for low output, but what’s the fun. So i reloaded with fresh HG2.

~320 μA for both my MT07S 70.s version.

I have a question, how does one measure parasitic drain?

(so far, I only know how to measure tailcap current with a DMM)

Look under current consumption. You want to measure current consumption when the light is off; this is standby/parasitic drain.

Does your MT07S blink rapidly and not turn off when the batteries get low? Mine just went into strobe twice after briefly flashing and then stayed in strobe until it just went off.

Mine blinks a few times when battery is low, and output automatically drop to low and there is no more blinking. I didn’t wait until it turn off, so i am not sure it will turn itself off or not.
