Is the XPL-HD or XPL-HI in Orange Peel a Better Flooder?

Which is it, is the XPL-HD or XPL-HI a better flooder?

I ordered a couple of more XPL-HD P60 Kdlitker drop ins from Kaidomain. The specs say 1000 lumen for the HD and 800 for the HI version.

I searched the forums and web with no definite answer. The only thing I found on the HD was that I has twice the “pixels”, (I’m probably wrong on the terminology, correct me).

The XPL’s have plenty of intensity for me in regards of 100+ yds of throw, but I want the most flood too.

Funner, presumably you’re asking about the flood+ier+ of the two. Of the KD P6 drop-ins, the XM-L2s in orange peel would be floodier still.

I guess I should of consulted in BLF before ordering. :person_facepalming:

I already ordered the XPH-HD’s.

And now I have the L2’s in my cart along with my Ultrafire F13 to Xhp-50.2 parts.

This has became a bit of an addiction.

The difference can only be minimal. They (XP-L HD and XM-L2) have basically the same die size and both have domes.

Please look at TA’s tests and be amazed how good the xpl2HD performs
