Test/review of Vapcell INR18350 1100mAh (Purple)

I just tested capacity of 2 cells in the Opus (which usually tests a bit higher than HKJ, but now it is the same).

Sorry to say but these #@%@ns look to be all over the place here and there at the E-CigaretteForum clearly bribing reviewers to show with a product which hardly can be purchased outside of usual sources for far western vapers. They also fear stating the underwrap OEM cells used in their products, this alone is enough cause for concern in my honest opinion.

Cheers :-)

I’m not sure where that rant comes from, perhaps you must be a vaper to understand it. If Vapcell has their distribution not sorted out well, it is a bit dumb and it costs them money, but I do not see why they should be condemned or blocked for that. (it was pretty easy to order directly through them though) And they are one of many companies that are not open about how and where they produce, nothing uncommon about that. And we know it anyway

I do not like suggestion about being bribed in my reviews.
I have never been paid for a review (I use more than $100 each month on product to review). I do sometimes get product for free to review and it is stated in the reviews.

Sorry, Vapcell was not of the bribing companies, my mistake. This stuff was mentioned by Mooch at the E-CigaretteForum with certain rewrapping companies and only with the purpose of being pushed up in the reviewing queue. I do neither vape, djozz.

And sorry about the other stuff, HKJ. I didn't state you were bribed about this, which anyway is no reason for a biased evaluation. My ranting was more a wtf thing with regards to their lack of market presence.

Cheers ^:)

I understand companies that offer that, it is very frustrating to wait many months for a reviewer to publish a review. I have also been offered that a few times, but always answered no.

Henrik, thats why I first and foremost turn to YOUR reviews when I have to divert from my usual cells (30Q) and/or chargers. No offence ment to all others who put a lot of blood, sweat and tears in their reviews. But that’s the way it is.

If anyone from the US is reading this, Liionwholesale has them in stock. 99% sure these are the same as Aspire, and perhaps the Keeppower from same yodeli battery factory in China. Also, the iJoy, Aspire, & Vapcell 26650, 18650’s from the same yodeli factory.

Yes, little sense for US folks to buy the 6 pieces that I have for sale, but for the rest of the world it may be interesting enough.

I wouldn’t mind two of thos nice ans shiny purple wrapped Vapcell 18350’s Djozz………….I wouldn’t mint at all.
Also: no shipping charges within Amsterdam!

Cheers
Nico

That is easy then, they are yours! Let’s say 3 to go (because 4 doubles the shipping).

I would like to try out these cells too. I have ordered from AliExpress many times, but have yet to try how to order from Alibaba, could you guide me on how to order from them? Is 10pcs the minimum quantity?
(sorry if this is out of topic, send me private message if this is so).

Even if off-topic the Alibaba how-to is of common interest. If djozz is willing, I'd like for such info to be shared.

Cheers :-)

Buying via alibaba is not difficult, it just takes more effort. Alibaba is not a shopping platform but a trading platform, but many companies trade with private persons too, and minimum order is often 1. So instead of straight buying stuff you will have to contact a company and ask for a quote (with shipping costs). You may even negotiate a different price (but I did not do that). In case of Vapcell I asked for a quote for 10 batteries plus shipping (I guess you can buy 1 too, but shipping will kill that deal). Officially you go through the alibaba pay system but with these small orders I tend to get an invoice with a Paypal address outside the pay system.

(a bit off topic)

I got in contact with Jenny of Shenzhen Vapcell (Alibaba) to inquire about the Vapcell INR18350 1100mAh 10A 18350 batteries.
At first, it seems like they can accommodate small quantities of orders.

Then I asked about the estimated shipping costs, there was a long pause….

… and then got a response that I needed to order 20kg worth of batteries (equivalent to 430pcs) before they can ship to my country.
Looks like some volume is indeed needed.

^ ouch!
So for shipping batteries they have easy countries and difficult countries :frowning: .
(I still have 3 batteries that I would like to get rid of, see post #10)

Interesting…

Oh sorry. I was going to say that I’m interested, but then the “5 years later” appeared… Turns out, it wasn’t March 18th, but March 2018…
