Unfortunately, the HC70 wasnāt right for me - I thought it would be great to have a separate battery pack for longer run times, but in real life I found that for my purposes (walking my dog for 45 minutes each time & reading in bed), a single cell light is far more useful.
So since I had given away my Imalent HR20 (which to be honest didnāt seem that great quality, even if Iāll miss the stepless dimming), Iāve been looking for a decent single 18650 headlamp. This one seems to fit the bill nicely, especially with the auxiliary high CRI light. And once something newer comes out in a few years time, I can gift it to my nephew, who loves his NU10 (and who now probably wouldnāt accept a headlamp that hasnāt got additional colour lighting!)ā¦
