Besides, conflicts are present allaround family, friends ,comunityā¦ā¦important thing is the manner one face them ,some for resolving issues and others to provoke them
āabrasive manner, behaving without consideration for othersā now thatās where i donāt see myself at all ,even though ,one is free to establish hes limits of feeling offended - i neither feel comfortable at all having to demand explanation to somebody several weeks without getting a single answer at all , surelly, just getting the long awaited GT with cells will calm me down much more
Thereās really not any benefit to showing other users the rudeness score or the amount of times that a user has flagged posts as rude. At best it would only generate animosity, and at worst it would be pure tit-for-tat warfare. But I can see everyoneās rudeness activity, and I can and do take action against users that are consistently rude and also against the very small number of users that try to abuse the system. Thereās really not a lot of āserial hatersā as Macka17 describes it, and button abuse is surprisingly infrequent.
If you get 1, maybe 2 rude points, do check your list of problem posts to make sure you werenāt inadvertently rude, but donāt sweat it too much. Anything more than that and you probably do have a problem with your tone or attitude that you need to change, at least while youāre posting on BLF.
āProbablyā is a point of view ,depending that personās interest/affection , keeping on about something is ā¦. again , depending on whoās the one to judge the things, partially or not that much
When I posted comment #481 in this thread, kntxās post count was 122. When I posted comment #484 ~20 minutes later, the post count was 50. It now says 56.
Not sure if that helps, but it looks like something happened during that time.
A while back I got hit by an ahole who marked my posts rude in retaliation for comments about a hurricane. He exaggerated the situation while I posted factual information. Iām still here, and my brother is still in Tampa having survived the storm. It seems some new members like to assert their āpowerā by trying to āstrike backā at those they disagree with or contradict them and this ārudeā system could result in the loss of contributing members if enforced too stringently. After seeing my rude meter leap I nearly bailed and am still hesitant to post due to that person but Iām still here albeit less frequently.
