I just got my Lumintop IYP365 and although it has beautiful appearance and tint, the controls sucks just like the four Lumintop Tools I bought. Not very useable imo. The three Astrolux A01 I have have very white tint (estimate 5700k), but is too cool for me and twisty lights suck. I like the Ultratac K18 the most for AAA but havenât really found an ideal AAA flashlight yet. I think the Reylight Ti Lan (I donât own one yet) from its description would be the best eneloop light but is not AAA. Iâm hoping there will be a Reylight Ti Lan AAA option with the same clickable operations in the future.
I would also suggest the Lumintop IYP365 brass or Ti. Very classy, Nichia option and better runtime with 2xAAA.
Iâm also partial to the Ultratac K18 which can be found in chromed SS and brass, Nichia option too, but i have to admit the UI is not obvious. Not sure about engraving space.
The BLF 348 was a very nice SS one mode AAA light but seems to be discontinued right now.
I disagree regarding twisty lights turning on easily⌠I EDC a couple ones and never had a problem.
I have lumintop iyp365 titanium on the way, she has the ultratac k18 already :person_facepalming:
So far the thrunite ti5t is leading the pack.
Streamlight Stylus Pro used to be quite popular, I see it has already 5300 reviews
right now it goes for $16.99
I think those thrunite lights will came after 4 march, you can contact them or hkequipment to know better :+1:
So, your wife likes flashlights?
Your lucky guy
I wouldâve suggested the BLF348-219 as a nice light in SS. Cu and brass will oxidise, Ti will look close enough to SS.
Twisties to me are more reliable than clickies. Iâve had tail-clickies and side-clickies turn on and burn through a battery, without exception. Never ever had a twisty turn on by itself.
And how to you lock out a clicky-light? Untwist the tailcap!
Another one you may consider is the Convoy Tiny Torch AAA. One mode in a very cute SS body. Twisty that can also be locked off⌠But itâs only 70 lumen i think. Choice of three tints for under $10. If not for the wife itâs a must have AAA IMO.
That is a nice light i might get one for my collection :+1:
Make room
It shouldnât be hard to take down a bit of the knurling with a file and then polish it up nice with sandpaper. It might even be something a jeweler could do as part of the engraving work.
Good to see you found this light :+1:
The sink.
The toilet.
The floor.
The wife.
The best thing to do for ones wife is to refrain from calling her âthe wifeâ.
My particular young lady likes to be called the wife or my wife, if i dont she will hit me with the sink, the toilet and then i hit the floor Cheers
Particularly if the alternative is âmy old ladyâ. :zipper_mouth_face:
Good choice BTW GI on the Ti5
Thank You Sir, turned out to be a nice little light.
For ladies, I would stick to titanium or aluminum light for light weight. Else they will complain it is too heavy.
My wife perfers smaller lights and lights that dont need rechargable batteries. She likes swapping out AAA or AA batterires at her conveniance.
âThe olâ ballânâchainââŚ
Do her a favor and load it up with primary lithiums, donât want alkaleaks in that beauty.
Yeah but thatâs probably what my wife calls me :disappointed:
My dad hates that too âŚand now I canât help but be somewhat irritated by it too âŚthanks pop
