Shame that the smaller one runs on 16340, I would have much, much preferred 18350.
The latest generation of 18350 have around 1100mAh (real!) capacity and easily take a 7A load.
I agree. I didn’t read carefully enough and thought it took an 18350 and it’s what kept me from ordering one. So much more juice for such a small difference in size.
The samples have been shipped and I’m anxiously waiting for them to arrive. Maybe before next weekend. Trying to be patient, not easy though. :innocent:
Those look like some really nice lights. Hope you guys enjoy them. I guess I need to go down to my basement and mod something to keep my mind occupied…
Thanks so much for the review. I hope you publish it in a separate thread too so it would make it easy to find.
The TO10R tint looks like it will be very green given how much it is above the BBL. The TO46R seems better but still on the green side. How does it compare with the nichia 219c? Is it more green? Because for me, even the 219c seems very yellow green compared with 219b, which is more rosy.
The tint shift on the TO46R looks pretty wild but is easily fixable by applying DC-Fix, which I pretty much apply anyways on most of my flashlights. I’m just worried about the green. I had to return my Zebralight SC5C II XPL2 4000k 90CRI because the green was unbearable. The three UT01 I had were also consistently lime/yellow so I don’t use them.
I think I will pass on the TO10R and buy the TO46R to play with. It’s unfortunate because currently, this is the only non nichia HI CRI 18650 flashlight on the market with USB recharge. Would have been the perfect EDC light if the tint was closer or below the BBL.
