[PART 2] Official BLF GT Group Buy thread. Closed, but Public sales open!

I see more packing material which is a good thing, but I donā€™t see any plastic to waterproof it. Maybe the registered mail boxes that got wet previously were just a fluke?

I suppose the beach areas would be good.
A lot of flat open terrain to max out the beam range.

Ok, nothing official yet, still got some issues to work out and some other details but just gonna give a little heads up. It is looking like we are getting close to an arrangement for the next batch of lights.

It will be done quite a bit differently then last time (aka, much better) and should hopefully be done soon. It should also make both us and lumintop happy and work in everyoneā€™s favor.

I will post more details when I know them but just wanted yaā€™ll to know that we are making good progress.

It seems I have finally broken through the great wall of china lol.

TA can You wait with next batch till they resolved problems with prevoius batch? Like it was described on survey

Yes, that is still the plan. They are working there way through it. Although naturally we canā€™t wait until orders are delivered and such. Just till the orders have been shipped and things like that. They are supposed to get in the parts for the GTā€™s in the next few days, so the un-shipped orders should start shipping soon.

Refunds are one issue we are trying to figure out how to deal with. Since it is past 90 days Neal canā€™t use the refund action on the payments and his account is still not allowed to transfer money, only receive it and refund payments. So we are not sure how to handle that until his account is fixed. It will happen, it just might not be before the next batch.

OK Thanks

I dont need refund  I want my GT so I hope LM will send me second oneā€¦ my first shipment is probably lost somewhere ;(

Lost shipments are a hard thing to deal with, They will have to take care of those on a case by case basis. This is why registered mail is not ideal, it can often take 2 months + which is too long for many people.

OK, but registered mail was one option to chooseā€¦ and As we can see there was a problem with wet packages and probably problem with readings of delivery addressā€¦

Oh, they will be taken care of, exactly how will be on a case by case basis though.

Heads upā€¦ Thereā€™s a GT for sale on CPF.

Not surprised, got a link?

I canā€™t say much since I am planning on listing mine for sale once I finish testing the XHP70.2 driver.

Itā€™s in the WTS Flashlights & Parts forumā€¦

Geez, $265 at that.

Thats actually pretty cheap compared to what they are selling for on ebay and less then what the retail price will be ($325 will be the retail price). I am surprised it is not higher actually.

wow 325$ retail price? and this is excluding batteries and shipping then, so over 400$ with those then, wow no chance ill get one anytime soon :frowning: just too much for a BLF light imoā€¦

Yes, this is the price point they need to make it profitable. Although pretty sure that includes shipping.

After some time I expect some coupon codes will pop up to lower the price to around ~$265 if I had to guess.

The out the door average cost of the GT so far has been over $160 is what I am being told and that is without any 3rd party in the mix but that is also a little biased due to so many people in the US buying them (cheaper shipping costs to the USA). So the new price makes a lot of sense.

Probably Astrolux MF04 will be in better price.

Well when I think of the saying ā€œyou get what pay for ā€œ, astrolux products pop into my consciousness, and not in a good way.
