I just went back through the entire thread and checked all the links/vids, lots of great classics! Some I've heard as a kid and just couldn't be bothered with but now as I've aged and my musical tastes have expanded I find some to be really good.

@fishinfool - wow, haven't heard Sailing & Drive in ages! Good stuff man, good stuff.

EDIT: Here's some CCR right back at ya:

Although this not a song.

This guys skills are way beyond his 16 years.

He builds slowly, then......woah.

Try to listen with headphones if possible.

Enjoy

Thanks a tonne for posting these. I'm a huge fan of the slap bass - even named one of my cats Bootsy Collins.

I have some great live Mark King solo stuff from the 80's, if you're interested. PM me an email addy, and I'll send you some links.

I grew up on 70's and 80's stuff which I think are 2 of the best decades in music and I never get tired of it.

CCR =

I had the biggest crush on Blondie which lasted for years.

Nice fishinfool. Here is my crush. http://www.youtube.com/v/dkQpVgOcGVY?version=3&hl=en_US&rel=0

Grand Funk= In Need (The Red Album)

balls you could bowl with

First heard this years ago in the film "Manhunter". Someone uploaded a beautiful slideshow of pictures to Youtube to accompany the music, but seems they've had to delete it for 'legal objections'. Damn shame. Can still enjoy the music, though.

One of the members of this band lives here in Rijkevorsel (Belgium):
