All I can add is my impression -- that I think he's also helping educate the people in China who design and make most of these flashlights, by having them make improvements, not simply copies. And I think that's great.

I have a pocket Rocket. No complaints at all, it is a great light with a very warm tint.
Sorry, for some reason I thought Troop had asked the question - damn that tiny screen on the iPhone! The P-Rocket is a great light for what I bought it for: small form, helmet-mounted bright light with good throw to complement my floody bar light on cycling night rides. While not technically a thrower, P-R has fairly deep, very light Orange Peel reflector that throws surprisingly well and still has decent flood. As Troop mentioned, it's a very warm tint. My N-Light ST50 is just slightly better with Cool White, which appears brighter to my eyes. Good run time too.

Update - I placed my order on the evening of 03/17 and it was in my mailbox today (03/22). Very quick shipping notice and response to a question I had. If SB had the inventory of the mega retailers, I'd order everything from them. Another excellent rating for Bryan!
SB is one of the best vendors in the market, period. If he carries it, and I need it, SB will always get my biz.
Chiming in here, I've had nothing but good experiences ordering from Bryan. Fast shipping, great prices, great product. His stock tends fluctuate a bit, but that's just because of grubby paws grasping for the goodness that he holds. He almost always has a good selection of models on hand.

i too recommend Shiningbeam. Bryan does a good job.
but for the sake of some balance, i share one not quite perfect experience with SB. i ordered an S-mini and it arrived with o-rings shredded and squeezing out the threads. and the emitter dome covered with some hazy crap which affected the beam. both of these problems would have been easily caught had the light been just looked at before being sent out. Bryan replaced the light no problem and threw in some extra o-rings. but, as per his stated policy, i had to pay for return shipping out of my own pocket even though the light was defective on arrival.
to be honest, i was a bit disappointed at first. that was the first time i bought from SB and i had read nothing but glowing reviews and i expected everything to be absolutely flawless. my expectations were probably too high in retrospect.
it just goes to show that even the best sellers aren't perfect every time and that it's good to have realistic expectations.
anyway, i really like the S-mini, and i would buy from Bryan again with confidence.

I have a pretty god sized collection of Romisen lights that have been hot rodded by Bryan. These are also often my goto lights when I need to gift a light to someone because they really represent a great value. I also have some Shiningbeam branded products That I really enjoy.
All of that said, the best thing about dealing with Bryan/Shiningbeam is that you can’t help but be impressed with the service. Besides the money I saved with BLF discount, this last package was treated to upgraded shipping, had a free light in it, and made it to my house in record time.

Just wondering if ShiningBeam are still around. Bryan’s website hasn’t been available for me for a couple of days. I last looked a month or so ago, and think the Caveman was on offer. Nice light. Great guy to do business with.

EDIT-I just looked on CPF and someone posted
that he had received an email from Bryan, in which
Bryan stated that he was going to transition to a new
server. Then as of yesterday , the poster stated he
again heard from Bryan confirming the new server
transition and expects his site to be up in the next few
