I guess I really like Slim Jim's...

Those are delicious, but messy.

Turkey Habanero isn't my favorite flavor, but that's what was on clearance.

Yeah, tha’ts what I meant . Real food ingredients.

So would you have a problem with dihydrogen monoxide in your food?

Water?

Nasty stuff…

 :+1:

Every road trip I’ve been on included at least 4-5 slim jims…the jumbo one.

I tried one once…possibly the worst piece of processed crap I ever tasted!! Must be lots of people who like them though as I’ve never seen a store that doesn’t sell them

They aren’t bad if you extract the grease from them…

50% grease, 30% wrapper, the rest is 100% beef mixed with a savory blend of salts, nitrates, and MSG!

WHAT’S NOT TO LIKE?
:sunglasses:

Sooo… cut ’em up and fry ’em in a skillet? :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh wow, why not list what the crap aint in and how it’s not gonna cause the downfall of man. The list would be a lot shorter.

It’s a very legit concern but that site just screams tinfoil wearing contrail watcher.

It aint even that hard, just leave them on the truck dash in the sun for an hour. Then poke a hole in the bottom and it will pour out on it’s own.

It’s just a rather clever (IMHO) gag site. “DHMO” is the chemical abbreviation for “water”.

Words spoken from experience perhaps?

I know what h2o is, i was just playing along

Worked on the road out in the boonies for way too long. Truck dash parked in the sun is sometimes your only heating source during a fire ban.

Oops, sorry, didn’t mean to be insulting.

No harm, no foul. I’m a thick skinned coot. Much of the time I am dumb as a box of rocks. Hang around and I’m sure it won’t be long I’ll say/do something stupid.

Besides everybody knows the real liquid of life is beer and/or whiskey.

I just decided to try a Jack Links Teriyaki beef stick. Did not like it; way too sweet, with no spicy seasoning at all.

Funny fact - beer is sometimes cheaper than water here in Germany. Never believed it until I looked at a menu and saw 0.5L water 2.30 euro, 0.5L Pilsner 2.20 euro. 0.4L Coke was 3.30 euro!!

That actually sounds exactly like Teriyaki. Did you expect it to be different? Have you ever had Teriyaki before? It’s actually pretty good on pork or chicken. I don’t like sweet beef, though.

Thanks, I can now tell my German born girlfriend I’m trying to save water next time she complains when I drink beer. I might have to PM you to find out what choice words I don’t already know that she is calling me.
